Katsidis will be ready. This could be the performance of his life. Win or lose, I don't know but there will be no doubts, no fear, nothing left in the tank after this. I have no doubts about his mental state for this fight. He will use this as inspiration and the time for reflection will come after the fight. It will be very emotional.

The drive needed to reach the level of the sport Kats has reached means he is mentally tough and very driven.

He is so focused on the prize the death of his brother will not get in the way.

After the fight when he relaxes I expect the death of his brother will really hit him.

A very straight forward guy I reckon. Good luck to him because he will need it.

I think he will win. His style has the ability to upset JMM. He also has a left hook that has the power Diaz lacked. Diaz caused JMM trouble with that left hook in first bout.

Well in Katsidis, you're a ****ing warrior. Would've been more than understandable if he postponed or cancelled the fight. I expected it, to be honest.

I wouldn't like to get in the ring with a guy as motivated as Katsidis will be next month. Marquez will have his work cut out for him.

My only concern for Katsidis is he doesn't peak too soon. If he somehow manages to stop JMM the emotional outpouring from him is going to be incredible.

Inspiring stuff indeed. I wonder what JMM thought when the he heard the fight was still on? I think he and Nacho man would've stepped their training up a bit more too. Somewhere in JMM's mind is a feeling that he might have to put on the boxing display of his life to beat this man.

I wouldn't be too shocked if in the first round Katsidis went hell for leather 1. to get it out of his system and 2. to see if JMM can handle him. Thereafter if he can control his aggression, time his attacks and if his all-round movement is first class then you might witness a fight for the ages.

November is looking like a special month for boxing. Don't you lot forget about JuanMa v Rafa too.

katsidis is an inspiring person, you can almost feel the weight of his desire and intensity coming out of the screen at you

that being said, i think JMM will stop him on cuts around 9/10 if katsidis doesnt wreck him in a couple rounds. that also being said, if it does go 10 i dont think marquez will ever be the same even if he wins

    RIP Stathi Katsidis

..........imagine how popular boxing would be if every fighter had the same balls and class as these two guys. sheesh

I bloody hate the Aussies, country of 22million... yet they produce an incredible amount of outstanding athletes.

Katsidis is a total warrior. Years back a few non boxing pals got interested a little in the sport and would often be let down by me saying "Watch X fight, it should be good", and then turns out to be a total load of ****. Then Katsidis Vs Earl was on one weekend and I said to them "No, really, I can whole heartedly assure you this will be great, this guy is awesome", then after the fight they said "He ****ing lost!", and I replied "Yeah, I was referring to the Aussie" Haha
