    I actually don't think Mayorga is a bad shout for welters. Big, strong, awkward, iron jaw, able to trouble some great orthodox boxers, I'd think.

    I personally consider Camacho to be a great fighter capable of winning against a lot of other greats at the lower weight classes.

    I can understand where you are coming from, Camacho would be hard to beat especially at 130. I wouldn't quite call him a great myself, but he was a great talent and very capable.

    Punchers, reckless or patient. Julian Jackson, Nigel Benn, Bob Sattersfield, Big Cat Williams...if I had to pick just one name, I'd go for Naseem Hamed, I bet he could have given some top top men fits on one of his best nights.

    The most obvious is Ken Norton/Muhammad Ali or Norton/Larry Holmes. Ken is looked upon as a very good rather than great fighter. Holmes was in his prime,when they had that close one,and when Ken beat Ali in 1973,Muhammad was only slightly passed his prime. Indeed,his greatest victory was still to come.
