I don't think Brock has learned to take punches very well, but I don't think he's glass jawed or else he would have been sleeping. I think Velasquez is one of the best strikers at the heavy-weight division and he still couldn't knock out Brock. Anyways never liked Brock as a champ cause his overall technique and enduracnce isn't very good. Was waiting for someone who could withstand his initial onslaught in order to take him out. Velasquez you da man!
I'm just messing around saying Rico said that. Anyway, it was more of a mental thing imo. He doesn't now how to cover up, he panicked, he was stumbling around more from clumsiness than being hurt (he was hurt though). He just didn't keep his cool and didn't keep his hands up without moving so much. He didn't even use his size, didn't even try to grab Cain at all when Cain was GnPing him and Cain wasn't even mounted! He missed many chances. Just panicked.
Naw, Cain can just bang! If Brock was glassed jawed, Carwin would of knocked him cold in their first round.
I would have to question Lesnars camp. He strikes me as the kind of guy who tells his trainers what to do. he is woefully unprepared for stand-up fighting. He panics the moment he gets hit, he gives up his height and reach, and his punching technique is awful. He is already a world class grappler. He needs a solid year of nothing but boxing. Real sparring to help him to develop the nerve to handle getting hit.
To be fair, he did display all the evidence of a glass jaw. Objectively, it's almost certain that someone like Chris Byrd would render him horizontal with a stiff jab. It's genuinely sickening to think of what a Klitschko or Haye would do. Does anyone remember when there were discussions between Lennox Lewis and the WWE for a 'shoot' fight between Lewis and Lesnar? Lewis would only have to look like throwing a punch and Lesnar would flap around scared, with the finishing jab landing moments later.
Brock came in looking to manhandle and take Cain to the ground in the first round because he believes a strength advantage is something he's entitled to over his opponents, however he couldn't budge Cain and gassed heavily when trying, after that he was ready for being taken out.
Lesnar has an average chin at best and doesn't have good endurance. I think this has been shown in 2 straight fights its just Corwin had worse endurance...
But Cain's feather fisted remember. Even though he stopped all but one of his opponents before he fought Lesnar. atsch:rofl I think there was a hell of a lot of WWE fans hyping up Brock tbh. Even old school posters were on his dick. There's a **** load of closet WWE fans i reckon. All these old shcool MMA fan's who've been watching since UFC were also following WWF/WWE just as hard.
No, Cain could'nt knock out Brock because he never got to land his best shot. That shot that put Nog to sleep would have flattended Brock worse than it flattened Nog.:dead
