this would be a proper fight between 2 guys who come to fight, no messing about and running around the ring, hugging and holding. Mayorga is my personal favourite apart from Toney, but I have to pick Karmazin UD here.
Karmazin is too sharp for Mayorga, too much skill, he will most certainly knock him out, but it will be a good fight for the first couple of rounds
Mayorga doesn't need this ****. He is old and he is only fighting for money lol. Why would he want to fight this guy just to get his ass kicked?? They should set up Mayorga vs Judah I think theres a little bit of money there for Mayorga.
karmazin is a very well schooled fighter who will be naturally the bigger man and has enough skill to put mayorga in his place. mayorga has been shown for what he is , right man , with the right style at the right place v forrest but basically he has been shown for what he is since and his chin is not what it was despite posts to the contary after last night, which was 2 men fighting 2 or 3 weights higher than where they have done there best. IMO karmazin will wear down mayorga and mayorga will get stopped late.
Exactly! This is another high profile, shot fighter Mayorga can fight AND its a winnable fight for him as well.
King owns 154 nowadays. Mayorga, Spinks, Karmazin, even contender Rodney Jones are promoted by him. I'm sure we'll see some matchup between the first three I mentioned in the future. My guess is Mayorga-Spinks II for the IBF, with Karmazin fighting another eliminator to take on the winner. Or maybe Mayorga-Karmazin, with winner taking on Spinks.
