im a proud Aussie mate but that is our worst quality.we are the sorest losers in the world(except me:D).we will :|:|:| and look for excuses when we lose.there was some poor refereeing but Hatton broke KT with his inside game and yes clinching is part of that.after Hatton won instead of being gracious in defeat many Aussie posters said.i bet Hatton becomes a protected FW fighter and will never fight out of England unlike a warrior like Kostya:|:|:|.wrong again.Hatton was a good fighter.in fact KT himself gave no excuses when Hatton beat him.

Prime Kostya beats Hatton from pillar to post but that will never take away the fact that Hatton broke Kostya down with his relentless pressure that made Kostya fight a high paced fight that night. Kostya's inactivity caught up with him that night & Ricky was primed ready for a high paced fight. At the end of the day, prime for prime, Kostya definately beat the higher calibre of fighter than Ricky.

I clearly remember Kostya giving Ricky his props live on British T V straight after the fight Stiff and if he had no reason to whine I don't see why any if his "supporters " should ? Like Roscoe suggested I just think Hatton caught Kostya with the correct fight plan at the end of Kostyas career . Prime for prime Kostya would have pissed all over Ricky IMO that's not to say Hatton shouldn't have gone ahead with destroying him at that time i'n their respective careers . Out with the old , i'n with the new .

The flip side of the fans sulking about the way Hatton bullied Tszyu is the fact Tszyu was still a very deadly banger. Ricky faught perfectly. Low blows, wrestling, shoving.. everything to take Kostya's edge away. I watched it and waited for Tszyu to get started.. he did not.

Now, anyone who is going to sulk about it.... ya better not be Fenech fans!!!

Horses for courses mate , it may not have been pretty but it got the job done , I wonder how many of thoses who continue to whinge would be of the same opinion if for example Geale took a similar approach to beating Karmazin in their fight when you consider what doors a win at all cost game plan victory would open up for him ?

Agreed. Most should be happy that Ricky belted Tszyu. Had Tszyu beaten Hatton, he'd have succumbed to Mayweather anyway...

Too true mate , If Hatton could do that to him Pretty boy would have boxed the **** out him , IMO going out like that v Hatton is a lot better than Kostya getting old v Mayweather .
