Martinez weights 176, how the hell is he gonna cut down to 157 in 30 days?

Maybe it's just a mind game after all. Williams' team started these games with the catch-weight ****, and Team Martinez maybe decided they'll 'shock' the Punisher with such an unlikely number - after a full meal, in clothes, with full pockets. Not a big deal I guess, but it's still refreshing to discuss this matter than you know which.

Martinez cracks me up! He has a 49% KO ratio, but he always claims he'll knock somebody out! The last guy he stopped was Bunema who feather fisted Ouma stopped in 4 rounds when Bunema was in his prime!

Anyway, if Martinez is 176 in clothes and shoes, he's probably about 168 in his briefs. That's pretty close to where he needs to be at the 30 day weigh-in.

The one Cintron claimed was a headbutt. Saying that's what he thought because he claimed to never have been that hard before.

Cintron could have got up at any time, but since he is afflicted with a super natural ability to get stuck on stupid, he argued.

Martinez has some crazy power for a LMW. Average power for a MW.

You guys are crazy thiking Martinez wont KO PW. PW felt the power of Martinez and thats why he avoided a rematch right away. Also once he gets more acclimated to the weight which i think he has he will be even better with that power.

Now that i heard he was fully clothed im feeling more comfortable. Please let Martinez be the underdog for this fight... I need some money.

Martinez definitely hurt Williams in the first round. I thought Paul was lucky it happened so close to the end of the round.

I dont think this is a big deal at all.... Martinez could have weighed in having had a good breakfast, and being fully hydrated, and all that, nobody here even know if he weighed in with a layer of clothes on or not. Its not like he has to make the weight today. If hes 176 fully hydrated and having ate breakfast, had a layer of clothing on, and still has 30 days to cut 19lbs, I really dont think its a huge deal.

I wonder what the point of these 30-day weigh-in's are if they're allowed to wear clothes and shoes? He could be hiding anything under there.

I don't see how such an inaccurate measurement can help medically as someone said higher up. My guess is it's simply to generate a bit of publicity, a talking point to help build interest.

This fight is a pick 'em fight for me, they both had short notice on the last fight and so will have a more tailored gameplan this time.

I rate it 51% to Williams at the mo! I don't really care who wins, I like watching both fighters and just hope whatever happens is a fair result and an exciting fight.

19 lbs is no problem. Hell some fighters put that much on after the weigh in.
