    Absolutely, Martinez is the guy who seeks a challenge. I really believe Martinez is the only one that would take a fight with Pirog at that stage. He is definitely a better Boxer than Jacobs but he also is a southpaw which would lead to a very interesting fight.

    Style-wise Pirog is hell for any of those 4. The last one that would take a fight with him is Sturm. I cant believe he is still holding a belt, When was the last time he fought someone decent?

    Oscar De La Hoya???

    Anyways yes Pirogs right hand is perfect for a southpaw. I think this fight will get made in a year or two and it will be a passing of the torch. Pirog just has it all. Chin, Speed, Power and a black mans skills. He is the future.

    He's well rounded, but his punch output/work rate is very low at times during fights, and because of this he tends to fade in and out of fights. Even against Jacob's, he dropped a round or two because he wasn't throwing enough punches, and he was letting Jacobs utilise his handspeed against him. Any fighter with a high workrate who can impose themself upon Pirog and land punches will be trouble for the Russian.

    Ok he fought Oscar 6 years ago. And now he is fighting Sylversters leftovers like Lorenzo...

    Pirog made some noise by Knocking out Jacobs but is that enough to establish a Unification-fight with Martinez next year? He is just too much of a risk for the Top guys.

    A shame he is already 30...could be a huge talent when properly promoted earlier in the US.

    Hopefully he fights this year again. Maybe he is really waiting for PW/Martinez to take on the winner.

    Who of the Euros is willing to fight him?

    Sylvester and Sturm the Paper Champs? No freaking way they take this offer.

    I guess he will try to establish himself in the US. Nobody knows this guy in Europe.

    You guys acting like Pirog is the modern day Ivan Drago.

    Sturm makes him look silly to a near shutout UD.

    Im not even black dude just stating facts or actaully generalizing.
    Just like when people think of Mexican fighters they think brawlers.
    Black fighters=slick fighters
    European=conventional fighters
    White american=UFC becasue you cant cut it in boxing.
