Machida is a horrible matchup for Rampage as most of you have said. Machida UD. Although with Rampage's power you can never fully count him out, but he has a punchers chance at best.
Machida batters Rampage with leg kicks high and low on the outside and punishes him with knees in the clinch to a UD and possible TKO in 3. Rampage has shown that he has no defense for leg kicks or knees on the inside. Machida will use both.
Some people need to learn some respect, I can't wait stand twelve year old nose pickers who infest forums.
My thoughts exactly, except Ortiz came alot closer to finishing Machida (last round triangle attempt) than Rampage ever will. But I can see it being a very simalair fight.
I hope Rampage changed camp... since he is there, he is a shelf of himself.. a prime rampage would have killed ****in jardine
Rampage is just a straight ahead boxer now. He isn't learning, adapting or evolving. He admits as much all the time. He says he comes to fight i.e. he comes to bang. But when someone doesn't come to bang and be smart then he is in trouble i.e. Griffin ****ing his legs up and Rashad wrestling. If Rampage is going to box he needs to use his feet more to avoid kicks and he needs to use his wrestling more to neutralise grapplers.
+1 i think this is honestly a big name on machidas resume to get him back in line for a title shot again, nothing more
