Who is the best current offensive fighter?

Cotto if you gave him a bit extra snap/speed, he would be unreal. Joe Calzaghe by a mile if you gave him better bones in his hands.

Hatton is not a bad shout ether. I think if he had a wee bit longer arms he would be up there. I mean like an inch or two.

 

I would go with Cotto as well, even though his right hand might not be near as painful as his left hook, his timing, accuracy and overall power is outstanding.

 

Pavlik?

 

agreed. He's got average speed, punching power although his arsenal is somewhat limited (jab jab big righthand)

His defense is underrated.

 

Pavlik lacks the speed, has less good timing and has a poorer range of punch's than alot of fighters.

He has a good workrate and great power.

 

Poorer range? May be, but not so poor. He lacks speed, but power, workrate and consistency put him quite high on the list.

 

Offense alone?

I guess Wlad, and David Haye are the best on purely offensive terms. Bith hit ****ing hard, are pretty fast and accurate, and have some frightening KO's between them. Neither are flawed offensively, whereas the other fighters mentioned are, ie Calzaghe can't punch, Pavlik is slow and limited etc.

 

He has a significantly poorer ranger than somebody like Joe Calzaghe/Floyd Mayweather/Miguel Cotto. Et al. He can be more easily neutrilesd than these other fighters.

 

pacman. Speed, power, explosiveness, strength, lethal straight left, lethal right hook, great finisher, amazing stamina.

 

Wlad (lacks an uppercut) cannot fight inside and nether can David, therefore they are flawed offensivly.
