Well it was obviously your system to only use world champions which is flawed, as I can't see the likes of El Buija forgeting to put Fitzsimmons at middle, or include Driscoll at feather and Moran at bantam.

i never said he did to be fair. i included all world champs as of right but if you check the op i also included driscoll as a non world champ GOAT contender and the other two were champions. im happy to include Fitzsimmons at middle and light heavy.

il double check El Buijas post but as he contributed a LOT of names to the list im not in any position to criticise the dude. he helped me out enormously.

ive also opened a separate post to determine the greatest brits never to win a world title, although it is mostly problematic ranking them over people who did achieve this.

its your choice who you rank the greatest. it is not and has never been limited to world champs.

im here to learn not to preach.

Good to see Jackie Brown's name getting a mention, he is/was my great uncle. Died before I was born though.

Ha, got sent down for biting chunk out of some guy's ear or nose apparently. We're a classy bunch.

It's close, but I tend to think of Lynch as even more of a stylistic conundrum than Wilde, although I may not be right in thinking so. I think that choice had more to do with my need to go against the grain and shed some light elsewhere, as I've always found Wilde a bit overrated, at least by the majority.
