You know Hayes one one of them fighters who can dish out mass abuse on a fighter the fighter might take round after round of a beating and be tough enough to take his lumps.

But you just know if the other guy was able to have even a fraction of the success back he would KO Haye.

All the abuse that Haye dished out on Ruiz over 9 rounds - if Haye took 25% of that back he would have been stopped. (I mean his own power).

Thats the key to beating David Haye. - Carl Thompson was the only guy who was able to pull it off so far - in that fight - Haye dished about 90% of the abuse out - the first 2 rounds was a mugging - then Thompson came back a bit and dished out 10% of abuse and watched Haye fall apart.

So the point is this - Haye is a more talented and big punching and much more impressive fighter than Audely Harrison.

Because of this alot of people see it as a mismatch - Hayes level of performance is of a higher standard and much more impressive.

But Harrison wont need to be anywhere as good as Haye to beat Haye.

As long as Harrison can get some shots off - if he is can get to Haye- which I think he is far more talented than the likes of Maccarinelli and Vaulev and Ruiz - then its not going to take anywhere near the amount of shots to get Haye out of there as Haye is capable of throwing at his opponnets.

So Haye can look the flashy talented big puncher - but if Harrison is able to find his range and start land back on Haye - I see Haye coming apart.

Problem is Audley got a glass chin and will probably take a dive after the first power punch that lands. Yes Haye also has a glass chin but it will take Audley something like 10 rounds to land the first punch and the fight will probably never last that long.

Thats what I see Audleys problem being, he's probably too timid to try to execute the only plan that gives him a chance of winning.

    Thats the potnetial biggest problem.

However it could be we are a bit harsh to say Audely has a glass chin.

He got caught once - and nailed - it happened to the best of them - Lennox Lewis being one of them.

If we forgive Audely that one freak punch - his chin holds up.

Likewise - if we forgive Haye that one night where he folded like a deck chair against Carl Thomspon - Hayes chin has held up too.

You got to forgive a fighter one blip in their careers - epscially if the rest of their careers outshine one nightmare night.

I give you a good example of what I mean - when I'm talking about Haye.

Joe Calzaghe - actually is a bad exmaple - because Joes chin or at least his powers of recovery are very good.

But he landed 1006 punchs - round after round on Laceys face.

What happened if that was the other way around ? - what if Lacey had landed 1006 punchs on Joes face - would he be able to take it ?

Lacey was get bashed all over the ring - then in round 10 he landed ONE punch that made Joe grimace with pain.

The commetors were ******ed - saying Joe got sloppy - when he got hit with ONE punch in a world title fight - and he was landing hundreds of punchs on his opponnet.:lol::lol::patsch - its supposed to be a boxing fight after all not a one way mugging.

Even if Haye outpunchs Audely 80% to 20% that 20% of abuse is all it would take for Haye to be cut or stopped or knocked out.

Maccarinelli had next to zero success on Haye - so did Valuev and Ruiz had less than 10%.

Thsts why he got no chance against a Kltischko because they will be good enough to have some success and land and he wont be able to take too much of it.

Power guys like Lacy don't land a 1006 punches though. A fairer question would be could Calzaghe take those 1006 Calzaghe punches like Lacy did.....;O)

    We will never know.

Like i said - Joe is kind of a bad example - cos Joe could take a good shot and come back stronger.

    A better example is this.........

That right hand that Klitshcko landed on Chagev in the 2nd round of their fight.

Wlad would be good enough to land that on Haye.

Haye wouldnt be getting back on.

    Simple.

Agreed. Haye doesn't have good chin at HW, I reckon most people would agree with that.

Also - this is playing fantasy for this point - because I know you cant turn Haye power on himself.

But that right hand he landed on Ruiz in the 1st round - if that was landed on Hayes chin - he would be knocked out - even if he managed to get back up he would probaly be all over the place.

The real issue is - when Haye is good enough to land and the other guy is not good enough to land - Haye looks sensational.

But all it takes is for a fighter to start getting some shots off on him and you see Haye looking in trouble.

You cant put Haye in the league of Tyson and Holyfield and Bowe and Lewis because he simply would not be tough enough to mix it up with those guys.

Flint, that’s the most ******ed thing you’ve written in ages. That’s how every single fighter gets beaten – they can’t take what they give out, so they lose.

Not exactly - I think your not quite grapsing what I am saying.

A fighter like Tyson - was very destructive - but equally very tough - even the times he did lose he took alot of good shots.

Bruno - lost to Lennox Lewis - but was able to suck up alot of shots before the brutal end.

Benn and Eubank knocked the living **** out of each other - rela tough competitors.

What I'm saying is - if Haye gets in a fight that is competitive - and is forced to mix it up - he is vunerable - Haye relies on outclassing his opponet with lateral movement and speed.

But what happens if it gets so comeptive he has to take some abuse back ?

How do we know Haye doesn't have a good chin at HW because Monte Barrett put him down? Monte's got some power ask Tua ;-x He took a fair bit of Ruiz punishment and Holyfield said he hits a lot harder than you think.

Monte Barret fight is a good example of Hayes vunerabilty.

Haye smashed lumps out of Barret for five rounds.

Monte was brave and took his lumps.

It just took one bit of success for Monte to land with a couple of punchs and Haye was hurt and in trouble.

    Exactly what I mean.
