They offered it to Kenny Anderson at one days notice after knocking him back because he wouldn't sign a rematch clause- haha

Dear me. I'm a fan of Haye and Booth but come on.

without degale he ain't in the papers. he ****ed up. being on the haye undercard is better for him. he might get some media time if they can find him a decent fight.

Sky reports Toney has some sort of cataract problem - didn't sound like anything new (like a twisted ankle for example), I wonder if Hayemaker Promotions have just hoped it would clear up instead of replacing Toney as soon as they knew there was a possibility he couldn't fight?

I'm probably looking for something that isn't there, I think it's just the fact I don't trust Booth one bit, there's summat about the guy that makes Don King look honest.

I've just read his terrible comments about Haye v Fraudly being too big to call a boxing fight, it's now an 'event', something we wont have seen the like of since the heady days of Hatton v Pacman - which was all of barely a year ago.

To be fair it's probably a good thing for Groves, he'll get better mainstream exposure now against a lesser opponent, a chance to look good on TV.

They should have offere Paul david, wasn't he supposed to be fighting Paul Smith and that got bumped for Degale. Would have been a decent test for Groves.
