David Lemieux!

The only middles I wouldn't make him a favourite are fighting each other shortly.

The rest of the division is pretty average and just asking to be cleared out pronto.

We've got some good prospects of our own but they seem content to tread water..... this kid would whip the lot of them, probably on the same night.

 

Golovkin/Lemieux would be scary good. There would be fireworks alright. Golovkin is not far off Lemieux for punch power IMO, its more the fact Lemieux is a lot more relentless whereas Gennady is a boxer puncher.

 

13 of his 23 stoppages have been KOs.

Has went the distance once in a 10 rounder.

Been watching this guy since his 8th fight, world champion written all over him.

 

When i first started hearing the hype i checked him out and thought he may get found out as he is a bit sloppy at times but yeah he can bang and he steadily seems to be improving. Im not convinsed yet but hes starting to win me over

 

I'm trying to stay off the Lemieux band wagon but I love a fighter like that solid power with the straight punches.

I was expecting Junior to run for a bit but he didn't get the chance. Sickening the way he went down as well.

In the fights I've seen of him, he seems to fight fairly smart. He starts out boxing his opponent, and when he spots his opening you can see him add the extra power onto his shots to get the KO.

 

Yes he should go for the CW title.

First glimpse of him. Definitely a good talent, however I do see flaws in the way he can miss with his punches and fall inside after them, and the fact he leaves himself open for counters. Still explosive power and an aggressive style is always a good mix.

I think a really sharp and classy counter-puncher would do him, like Martinez.
