the Dirrell interview is certainly a "wtf?" moment. his granda saying that he (Dirrell) shouldn't say any more without his lawyer present, which Dirrell replied "why?" a lot of needle between Abraham and Froch, Froch promising to work the body and still moaning about judges and venues. Johnston facing $30K per lb(s) over 168 fine - hasn't made the weight in 10 years.
Dirrell has got bags of talent but brain injury or not he has'nt got the mental strength needed to be an elite fighter. Infact his a joke who needs to grow up! No one likes a whiner, which is all he seems to do.
Great show. Froch v Sauerland at the presser was quality. As for Dirrell, well him and his team looked like a bunch of lying *******s.
dirrell is an idiot.his manager talking about the importance of money in the ward fight.then using the arguement that if it was any fighter apart for his brother he would push him to fighter was just puzzling.AA and froch are two hard ******* and are going to have a great fight
When Dirrell was thinking about how to answer how long its been since he had "symptons", you could see his brother looking at him and thinking "please god, stick to the story Andre". He looked well relieved when he eventually came out with the "um.....three days" crap.
I'm not a big fan of Froch but he was hilarious on it. Especially moaning about Finalnd, superb dry humour. And then ripping into Sauerland. I still don't like Froch as a fighte rbut I'm warming to him. Was it just me or did it seem really jumpy and you found it hard to know what the hell was going on at times?
With that $30,000 per pound fine, he'll make it alright. Edit.. Dirrell interview can be seen on this thread.. http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=264013
