If your out classing your opponent in every aspect, then its called dragging on .. No need to give yourself some round against a fighter that has nothing to offer.
Yes I do if he boxes cause he is a smart boxer, but if he goes toe to toe could be a different aspect although he(peter) has a good chin.
Yeesh, try a spell check. And if you follow what he had done, Elvin Ayala actually was a pretty big step up. He just happened to beat the crap out of him. Camacho was a step back, IMO, but I suspect his team wanted him to fight a southpaw, which he hadnt done much before, because they're actually trying to teach him how to fight. I do think Smith would be a great next step though. Most of the other guys don't make any sense for various reasons. Why would another hotshot prospect (Korobov, McEwan) face him in a fight that isn't for a title at this point? That makes no sense. Why would a titlist who could make more money fighting someone else (Pirog, N'Jikam) face him? That makes no sense. (not to mention that N'Jikam is required to fight Gennady Golovkin next) Why would someone who's nearly a mandatory for another sanctioning body (Macklin) risk that by fighting him? That makes no sense. Why would a guy who just got knocked out (Jacobs) take his very next fight against a huge puncher? That makes no sense. Ishe Smith makes a lot of sense. Marco Antonio Rubio makes a lot of sense. Gennady Martirosyan makes a lot of sense. LaJuan Simon makes a lot of sense. Giovanni Lorenzo makes a lot of sense. Sam Soliman makes a lot of sense. Any of those guys would be an appropriate step up. But he needs to build a bigger name before other top guys are willing to risk what they have against him.
perhaps camacho jr showed some improvement in the 'heart' category by taking a fight with such a dangerous opponent. but if he was serious, he would know he really shouldn't be fighting at mw. probably all a little too late especially with his discipline. definitely a shame
I'm not sure i understand why. :huh that's like saying ''[fictionnal fighter] He wouldn't mind fighting in the U.S. because he is from the UK. France and Canada (or Quebec: French Canada) speak the same language but there's still a huge accent difference and really different attitude too (that snobbish attitude from europeans). You definitely make sense and know what you're talking about. But from a personal point of view, I think you abuse the caps words, I know a lot of people have poor reading comprehension and you're just trying to help them out by popping out the important parts of your post, but it makes you look like you're mad all the time, just saying. Although at least your posts are interesting and relevant. :good
That's all I am trying to say...The fighters that I mentioned were only to give examples of the crop of talented young fighters that would make for compelling match-ups. And for the record, I think it's kind of juvenile to mention "typos" or spell check when the points of the post was crystal clear. Example...If someone called you an *******, but it's misspelled, does it make you any less of an *******? Everyone assumes that every poster is in the perfect Atmosphere for writing, being well-lit with the sound of the ocean in the ****ing background. Has anyone ever stop to think that maybe someone is at work and trying to be "QUICK & DISCREET?" Has anyone ever stop to think that maybe the poster has a 10 month old who learning to walk and teething...while trying to create a thread and/or post? Well If I offended anyone of the hundreds of LITERARY GENIUSES:-( in ESB...then please will you accept my deepest expression of APOLOGY!!!:-(
BTW it's not Darryl but Daryl just kidding. when people sart talking about your typo instead of your subject it's probably because you got a good point and they just don't know how to deal with it :good
Camacho Jr told after his fight that Lemieux was really fast and he wasn't able to see his shot comming! And on his Facebook he said that he will come back stronger because that's what Champion do, but at 147lbs!
Me and everyone else...will not be waiting for his return. Oh wait....let me spell check this for everyone.
It's just that getting the names of the most of the fighters wrong makes it seem like you don't know what you're talking about, even if you do. Anyway, I think he has been taking incremental steps up so far for the most part. Kid's only 21 years old. Give him some time. They've been moving him up in class, and I'm confident his team will continue to do so. I mean, Ayala drew with Mora (which should have been a win) and won 3 or 4 rounds against Abraham and lasted until the 12th round. He's not a bum. Lemieux just made him look like one. Camacho was the first decent southpaw Lemieux had faced. Part of the reason he was signed is that he'd only been down once or twice in his career before, and they thought he could give Lemieux rounds and a learning experience against a southpaw. Camacho isn't great by any stretch, but Lemieux made him look worse than he is as well. Lemieux has another fight scheduled in about a month (although I wouldn't be shocked if it gets pushed back). I doubt they'll be able to get anyone that great on a month's notice. But after that, I suspect we'll see him in there with someone like Simon who should be able to withstand his power and fight back. That's what Lemieux relaly hasn't seen yet, and we won't know how good he really is until he faces guys who don't wilt under his pressure.
I don't think they were typos, you just didn't really even know the names of the fighters you were analyzing, and something like that tends to catch peoples attention. And the comment about "N'Dam Jakim" not having a problem with fighting in Canada because he is from France... for ****s sake.
