it has nothing to do with how good the boxer is at boxing. its how good they are at staying off the floor and getting back up that counts.
When was Tyson ever clinched at will during his prime? The only time i ever saw Tyson clinched was when an opponent had been rocked and was hanging on for dear life. It must be noted that these fighters were rocked during an exchange.. no mma cat would be able to stand and trade with Mike Tyson with those tiny 4 ounce gloves.. Tyson was a genetic freak, he was fast as hell for a guy his size, was very agile and elusive. No wrestler would simply be able to shoot and take Tyson down.. Tyson was a killer with those short, sharp hooks and uppercuts.. I'm sorry, but your mma guys would truly be put to sleep any which way.
Tysons guard would be his deadly punches, Cain just walks in takes Tyson down? ha ha. We are talking an mma fight here, so we're assuming Tyson spends 6 months training 'mma' which would give him other useful tools to use.. an mma dude will always lose a boxing match. an old 48 yr old, washed up former heavyweight champion boxer has already cleanly KO'd a former mma heavyweight champ.
No. Tyson knew he could not even stand up to leg kicks hence hs abortive K-1 talks. And now he is just going to deal with everyone with ease in a whole bunch of new skill sets?:huh
