Look my example was from 10 oz to 16 oz, that's mass.

I thought dimensions and mass are directly proportional.

well im not sure about pros cuz i never boxed a pro fight.
but the gloves do weigh only 8-10 ounces. (possible knuckle feelings)
BUT ALSO the hands are wrapped very good (possibly eliminating the knuckle feeling)


now in amature boxing/sparring.

even though the gloves are heavier I tend to feel knuckles sometimes when hit.
But then again alot of amatures just use regular handwraps.

 

Reyes fight gloves don't have much padding.... at all

look at Chicos left pinky knuckle you see the same color seriously lets leave this debate for people who have actually had their hands wraped and used some boxing gloves.... the picture of Margarito after the cotto fight shows a little tape over the knuckle area but that to has an explanation as well but then again you havent done anything in this sport to understand this ****.... which is why its so easy for you to point out **** like this with out really knowing.

He is drawing those conclusions based on what he hears but not everything he hears only what Brutha Nazim says, his hate for Margarito goes back to when Tony pulled Floyds ***** card....

you can not tell whats on them becuase that was not taken or those were not taken with an every day camera, you cant just tell whats on them based on looking at that picture.
Let me tell you likely what it really is, Glue Gum, the man was asked to unwrap his hands the tape had been applied and when removed do you not think its possible for the sticky **** from the glue to remain on the gauze?
