Harrison 'Tony Thompson Knocked Haye Down In Sparring'

When's the last time Haye has landed a clean punch anyway? In the Ruiz fight after the first knockdown everything was a ****ing rabbit punch. He's never changed, and never will. He throws a small amount of shots until he hurts his opponent then goes ****ing ape**** on them. He's not even that impressive on the backfoot.

 

not sure about that, i heard him say in an interview he doubles the wages of any aparring partner who knocks him down, and noone to date has managed it.

then again thompson is a southpaw so maybe caught him off balance?

he has reasonable pop but not that much power.

im not saying its b.s. i just dont buy it atm.

Like him or not, Haye has amazing power AND speed. I couldn't believe the first Ruiz KD. It looked as if Haye merely tapped him on the snoot, and THUD, down went Ruiz...........LOL

Audley said Thompson isnt much of a banger. Well considering he stopped 6 of his last 7 opponents, Id say he can bang. And those include the likes of Owen Beck, Chas Witherspoon and Luan Krazniki.

Thompson is LEGIT. Only Wlad has beaten him handily. And that in and of itself is bragging rights.

 

Ruiz is shot.

 

Thomspon is underrated.

He makes a very good fight against Wlad, hard fight for The Champ until Wlad knocks Thompson out. Thompson took good and big shots from Wlad.
