I'm in complete agreement. Also note that conditioner101 hasn't yet said anything that wasn't known in the public. For all you know he isn't the guy he claims to be.

The person Kermit is today and has been the passed 3 years is a far cry from the humble, quiet, and nice kid he was when I met him whenhe was 19. There was a reason why I allowed Kermit to move into my house with my fiance and I, and that reason was he had become like family to me. People change, and unfortunately Kermit is no longer that nice kid he was when you met him.
Going to school with someone doesnt mean you know that person. I was with Kermit nearly 24/7 for 6 years. Not only did we have a great professional relationship, but there was a strong friendship as well.
I am not accusing Kermit of anything. He did what he did and thats all there is to it.

Tell me what I would have gain by claiming to be someone I am not. You are in no position to challenge my knowledge of Kermit or what on in his career. I trained him. I managed him. I drove him to fights. I went to camp with him when he sparred Gatti in Vero Beach. I took him to the Poconos to spar 6-heads, and Kassim Ouma. I went to PR with him for press conferences. I worked the corner for every fight. I'm the guythat went after the idiots in the crown that threatened him after the Margarito fight. I drove him to Dr Melones in Manhattan for 2 surgeries. I drove him to Philly for his operation with Dr. Kulp. The list goes on and on.

You have to realise that people get on here all the time claiming to be what they aren't. I tell you this because maybe you are who you say you are, but forums generally are not the place for validation.

Just a few weeks back we had someone on here claiming to be a boxer that he wasn't. And that eventually came out when he was caught in a lie.

But just incase you are, trust that you do not have to validate your point of view on the internet. Karma is a ***** and boxing is a very demanding sport. If he has issues with commitment, it will show up eventually at the top level.

I believe you are who you say. I guess my issue is this... no one on these boards was trashing you or marshall in regards to Cintron or anything else. YOU came on here and started trashing a guy that isnt even around to defend himself. Whether it's true or not, its sour grapes, and very unprofessional. It sounds like you worked hard for kerm and that maybe he hurt you, but that is personal stuff between you and him. He obviously consulted with someone and made the decision to move on from you guys. it happens all the time in the fight game. im sorry that you guys got hurt, and am glad you guys are still doin your thing and being successful about it, i just dont think it's very professional to start airing personal business on a message board, when the main person involved aint even around to stick up for themselves.

ok so you're obviously here to vent your anger and bad mouth the guy, which is fine since 99% of all ESB fall into the same category anyway. :D

What I find strange is that most ppl in this thread seem to buy everything you say without hearing the other side of the story......simply because Cintron put up a weak performance ?

You must not pay much attention to whats written on this site, the forums, and other sites. Kermit and Manny made ALOT of negative statements about us. Also in the Reading Eagle newspaper. The difference is what I am saying is facts. Kermit lost to Margarito because he didnt show up to train 100%. He didn't follow the game plan laid out by Marshall. And because when it comes down to it he lacks the fortitude to dig in when a fight gets tough.

I am noit venting anger. It was 3 years ago. What I am here for is to defend the integrity of Marshall and I. To defend the effort and commitment that we put into training Kermit and guiding his career. People on here come to the boards and speculate on what they think happen. Well, I am telling you what happened. No speculations or theories. Just facts.

Dude, no one was attacking you, so there was no need to defend yourself. just a few days ago, it seems that you were on here pretending like you dont know him, and that as an outside observer you noticed that he looked better with his old team than he does with manny. why didnt you say then that you were part of his old team. honestly dude, this is f'ed up.

Speaking of the original gameplan, can you go into detail on what it was for the Margarito fight? Also, was the end result a shock to you guys since he did so well in the Reid fight?

I wasnt sure if it was smart to reveal my identity, and I thought that if I didnt reveal my identity I might get an honest idea of the publics opinion on if they thought Kermit looked better before the switch.
I wasnt sure how people would react, but then after thinking about it I figured honestly was the best policy and if I was gonna discuss boxing people should know my background.

The original gameplan was very similiar to the one Pavlik used against Miranda. It was to back Margarito up immediately and not allow him to gain any momentum. We noticed that when guys fought him hard (Daniel Santos and Danny Perez) his punch output dropped off greatly. We wanted a hard jab the first few rounds followed up with right hands. Constantly keep Margarito on his heels.
After the Teddy Reid fight we were convinced that over the next few years Kermit would clean out the division. We saw him get hit with a few bombs and come back firing. We saw a great jabs. We saw good defense. (Teddys connect percentage was terrible). We saw late round power.
That being said.. as camp progressed we knew we were taking a gambloe because of the lack of effort he put in camp. We went out there trying to be positive but hoping Kermit would get lucky and catch him early.
