Great interview Rummy. Even a lot of us who always liked Fury have always said that he just doesn't seem to know how to improve. Now, with Stewart, he gets it. He's got the tools and he has the balls, now, with some proper focus, he is going to take off:

“Well I have great attributes. I have size, speed, and movement, but so far in my career I’ve not been using them at all. I’ve just been going in and boxing like a 6’1” guy instead of a 6’9” guy. I’ve been using a lot of heart and determination to win. I’ve not really been using my ability, so hopefully I can transfer all the things I do in the gym into the ring, and start using my height more and combination punching. I’m a great combination puncher. I like putting punches together in bunches, and I’ve not been doing that recently so I’d like to start doing that again and just boxing behind a nice stiff long jab.”

Definately has the balls but unfortunately has the moobs aswell. Needs to get in shape. There's more shape on a Nik Nak. No proffesional boxer wanting to operate at world level should be in his sort of condition. His attitude is a breath of fresh air though.

This guy is completely overrated and gets way too much attention, i saw his 2 bouts with that mcmuffin guy and he got schooled the first time and was slugging it out with him in the second and was lucky to catch a second wind mid round to ko the man.
Besides punching himself in the face he also had another dumb move, apperently he thinks he is the next atg at heavy. In that fight he also arrogantly tried a ali shuffle and got punched right in the face making him wobble for a few sec.
This guy would be a perfct target for david haye to make some easy money and win another farce of a fight.

he's got some good skills, a solid chin, and good size. just his fitness is embarrasing.
but i just don't think he's got the will power to get into shape. If he can get into Klitshko shape he'd be good. But i really don't see it.I f he can'tbe motivated on the way up, he's not gonna be motivated should he get to the top.

    Way too lazy.

The guy is an UTTER novice. Far too early to tell how/if/when/why he will achieve anything. Any one who is making judgements on him at this stage in his career needs to put their Nostradamus skills to better use playing the lottery.

Tyson Fury threw an uppercut and hit himself in the face

Yet, when he peaks the Klitchkos will probably be retired, and with the Heavyweight division being so weak these days Tyson probably has a chance at landing a world title.

This is how much of a joke the Heavyweight division has become

Imagine if Audley lands a lucky shot against Haye and wins, and then loses to Martin Rogan again. An Irish cabbie would be the heavyweight champion of the world, and this isn't as unlikely as most believe.

    I miss the 70's, 80's and 90's I really do......

Manny's gonna turn him into a jab-and-grabber, nevertheless.....Deontay Wilder will starch him.

A stroke of genius added to his camp won't completely eliminate his lack of focus and more importantly lack of good conditioning.

He's got his faults, he's a decent-level fighter, nothing more, nothing less.

He looks physically like if he got in shape that he would be relatively skinny for a big hw. Lets see how he goes, more than likely a sacrificial lamb for either K Bro though!

Taking Fury is the next clou of the Klitschkos to bother Haye. Chisora and Fury were the only Brits who could fight Haye in 2011/12.

But Fury is not the real deal. Look for example for Helenius (http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=451505&cat=boxer)

who has the same amount of fights....he is a league above Fury.

Come on, Fury doesn't have the equipement to become something special. No way he will beat top 5-10 fighters like Soilis, Chagaev, Boytsov , Arreola, Peter etc. In a year of 3 we will even not mention this guy anymore than 10 times a year. Just another Danny Williams, McBride, Sprott etc.
He lacks skill, technique, speed, movement you name it ; he lacks is
