I noticed that punch live on the HBO broadcast and it was definitely a hard shot. Pac however was in no danger of getting koed from that punch.

Cotto almost KO'd Pac? What R U nuts? Did you see Pac after he got hit with that shot he came right back on his toes pumpin his fist saying COME ON!!

Only the strongest survive, Pac took Cotto shots and he might have been hurt but he didn't go down and kept coming while Cotto got hit and went down and started backpedalling

It was a good shot that wobbled Pac. You can see he backed off and took the rest of the round off a bit. It's shots like those that landed and the issues of balance being at the heart of the knockdowns which disheartened him that I think a rematch under Steward wouldn't be a waste of time.

I also noticed that punch on HBO, and u can hear the crowds reaction, what i couldnt tell is that pac slightly buckled from that. i wouldnt say he was really hurt at all other then it buckled him but obviously he recovered right away. there are also a million times where pac hurt cotto as bad as pac was hurt by that punch but if we posted every single time cotto wobbled or was rocked by pac we would be here all night

    Cotto is a beast.

We know why Floyd ducked him.

you don't need one-punch knockout power to win...

margarito kicked cotto's ass without one-punch power.

you need other things such as endurance, a granite chin, a heart the size of Texas, and determination.

huge exageration in my opinion to say manny pacquiao was nearly knocked out at that moment. pacquiao just walked straight forward with his high guard up throwing punches again. i don't even know if it stunned him that much, because i saw no effects on his legs, his legs were strong, so no, pacquiao was not nearly knocked out at that moment.

Honestly, I didn't think he was hurt in either. If he was hurt in the first, there's no way he could have recovered that quickly, I think he was a little stunned because he wasn't expecting to get caught with the punch and didn't see it, but he's right back pressing up to Cotto at mid-range and letting his hands go. The one caneman posted just looked like a little shuffle.

it's identical on what pac threw to hatton before going to sleep. that would explain why granpa mayweather doesn't want his son to be with pac.
