    1) Why is Calzaghe calling Trinidad and Jones "old guys"? Isn't Calzaghe then an "old guy" as well? and if he's calling them old, what's it say about Calzaghe calling out a REALLY old guy haha?

Let's face it, Calzaghe couldn't shine Roy Jones' shoes...There is no comparison with accomplishments, skill, etc. Jones went from 160 to Heavyweight and won titles all along the way (except for Crusierweight which he could've also cleaned out). Jones fought more great fighters, and took more risks (even with all the criticism of him ducking people) then Calzaghe EVER WILL.

Trinidad took tough fights (even when he was past his prime and out of his natural weight class). Calzaghe sits at 168, and fights bums in his own hometown.

    2) If he wants Hopkins soooooooo bad, why doesn't he just come out and say, "I'll fight BHOP in New York for X amount of money, period." He does the same bull**** as other fighters do. Besides, even if Calzaghe beats Hopkins, it won't REALLY be beating Hopkins...

Calzaghe is bull****. Remember when he called out James Toney (who at the time weighed 260 haha). He just talks. Toney would've made Calzaghe his ***** at 168 or 175. Who is Calzaghe kidding?

And Hopkins should either just retire, or beat the crap out of this overhyped, manufactured, champion who only fights in his backyard against tomato cans.

Calzaghe can fight Clinton Woods, a guy EVERYONE called a bum when Roy Jones knocked him out in 6 rounds with one punch thrown when his hands were behind his back...Now Calzaghe calls him legitimate haha...what a crock!

Calzaghe is starting to **** me off. I really hope Hopkins knocks him out. He'd have to stop all this nonsense if he was KOed by a 43 year-old man.

That wasn't Clinton Woods but Roy Jones did make Clinton look foolish.

You sir, are a deluded idiot

Why do you think Hopkins suddenly doubled the money years ago?

Why do you think it's difficult now?

It's not quantum physics, Hopkins will never fight anybody his own size unless his name is Antonio Tarver and he's ****ing shite. Kessler might not be one of the American 'names' that you all jerk off over, but it was a better win than all of the welterweights old man Hopkins has fought put together

You're right, it was Glenn Kelly! Nice to see someone recognizes things!!! haha...

Roy Jones just chased Clinton Woods around the ring and made him his *****.

    You sir, are ******ed...

The Kessler win was better than all of Hopkins' put together haha??? That's beautiful. Who did Kessler fight again? Who did he beat? Oh yeah, nobody...just like Calzaghe who fought NOBODY. Calzaghe has ONE NAME on his resume, and that's Eubank. And Eubank was at the end of his career at that point (I think he had 2 fights after).

Calzaghe postures and talks ****. He calls out Hopkins, called out Jones, called out Toney...all of them are better fighters than Calzaghe will ever be. And by the way, all of them fought REAL CHAMPIONS...think about it genius :hi:

All you talk about are names

Stick De La Hoya, a ****ing welter in the ring with Joe Calzaghe

Stick your ****ing Trinidad's in there, he'll get destroyed as well

But whats the point, it doesn't prove you are a great fighter. It proves you can beat up little men. Joe has DOMINATED everybody at HIS weight for over a decade home and away and now he is going to move up

Hopkins has been content to fight 'names' so that American gimps who's boxing knowledge fits on a postage stamp are deluded into thinking he's amazing. He fought a genuine middleweight for the first time in his life and got beat by Jermain ****ing Taylor. Jermain Taylor. Doesn't that tell you something

He should be sent back to prison on charges of being a chicken, and his bumboy fans should be sent to a mental home on account of extreme delusion

a couple of little guys out of their prime, actually I'll say the same about Winky too when Hopkins fought him...as for Taylor....well nobody seems to rate him, yet he best Poppins twice.
Hopkins has been a handpicker extraordinnaire, the guy is a fanny.
He shat himself when Toney was hunting him down.

DO YOU SMOKE CRACK? Calzaghe beat everyone HOME and AWAY hahahahaa???

Calzaghe fought once in Germany and once in Denmark. EVERY OTHER FIGHT OF HIS HAS BEEN IN THE UK.

Stop playing. He won't leave his own backyard to fight anybody.

And, he beat everyone in his division??? He made sure to stay in the softest division...never venturing to fight any REAL champions. RJJ didn't stay in one soft division his ENTIRE career, neither did James Toney, or DLH, or Trinidad, etc. They all LOOKED FOR BIG FIGHTS. Calzaghe looks to pad his record. Stop comparing him to greats. You just look dumb!

I can see the Delahoya win being bull****, but why does everyone discredit his victory over Trinidad??? It was a brilliant performance, and a complete domination of an undefeated titleholder. Tito held 160lbs much much better than Delahoya, and was a legit title-holder coming off a demolition of Joppy. Also, everyone picked him to beat Hops. Everyone likes to say he was a former WW, but thats what happens in boxing. Hoya is a former 135lber, Floyd too, Tommy Hearns was a former WW....does that mean Hagler should be discredited? Roy Jones was a former Middleweight, Holyfield is a former Cruiser, etc etc etc.......

Exactly, EVERY GREAT FIGHTER LOOKED FOR BIGGER AND BETTER FIGHTS, and looked to expand their title reign to other divisions...

except for hmmmm...let's see...oh yeah, JOE CALZAGHE
