    I cringe when I look at Jack Dempsey's resume after reading people make arguments that he is better than Ali, Louis, or Johnson (my opinion is that Dempsey is a distant 4th best heavyweight, and wouldn't argue against Marciano, Foreman, Sullivan, or Jeffries being higher rated). I cringe because of the competition, because of the Jess Willard fight, and because he never faced a black man, the approx. 1-5 top worthy challengers of his time.
