"one fight for every year . . . but im sure he wasnt fighting when he was 4 and 5" and it begins! atsch
Lads can leave off with the spoilers on the off chance we get 2 short main events and they fill up a lot of the show with undercard fights. Garcia looks like he'll stop Mitchell and Casey could KO Hyland in the first. Please lads leave it out in case anyone knows anything
Garcia has just done himself here. He was going to get an impressive stoppage win and ****ed it up leading in with the head. Soft ending to that one instead of spectacular
I presume BUI rules don't apply tonight. Dunne's fight went to the card when he was cut with a clash of heads but Garcia gets the win tonight? No fear of spoiling a live fight paddymickey! I was just disappointed to be greeted with the Fitz-Murtagh news when I logged in
Garcia caught Mitchell under the eye leading in with the head. Vann didn't give it. Mitchell took a knee. Mitchell went to his corner with a gash about 2mm under his left eye. Fight stopped. edit It's a pity because he was going to stop him properly anyway
In America i know it has to go past 4 rounds and dunnes was stopped in the 7th i think? any1 knw wat the actual BUI rules are?
BUI rules were changed to some standard international rules. Like you said if it's less than 4 rounds NC. If it's after 4 it goes to the cards. BUI used to be the same as BBBC. Head clash (accidental or not) means the fighter cut loses. Which is a shite rule
Disappointing, was really looking forward to see Garcia step up a level. He looked good from what he showed though but still would have been nice to go a few more rounds. Also, in terms of the fight being a no contest and that. What was the reason it was stopped. Didn't look like the doctor stopped it so should it not count as a retirement from Mitchell?
The doctor was called in and soon after it was over. I didn't see the corner go to the referee and call it off and I don't think the referee did it.
Have money on Casey KO but want Hyland to win. Hate betting against the guy i'm rooting for, don't know who to cheer.
