That's why I lean toward him just sucking. I'll accidentally clock someone and apologize from time to time. And I've had guys telling me to hit them harder, but **** it, I already know I can hit hard, I need to work my speed lol.

Sometimes I'll say "you alright" when I notice I really got a hard hit.

What do you do if they reply "No"?

The only time I apologized during sparring was when I unintentionally landed head-butts and low blows to the groin.

Also if the sparring session gets too heated, either party can always call for a stop or the trainer can decide to step in.

Give them a couple seconds. Sparring does nothing if I just beat the **** out of them while they're hurt, for either of us.

    say..'that all you got?"

it won't make any friends, but it'll bring the heat!

    This....

or just keep "dont say sorry" and they'll do it less or stop completely after a while. I used to be the same way and I only say "you alright?" when I hit them harder than I intended now. Anyways, you dont need real heat in sparring, my guess is your new to it. Get out of your mentality, it wont serve you well.

maybe the facial agony that you put on display upon being hit is so anguished that they feel like they need to apologize for seemingly damaging your soul. You gotta put your man face on.

I'll apologize or stop punching if I hurt the guy in there, so maybe you just look like it hurts you or something.

But if you really want them to hit you harder, laugh at them/talk **** when they hit you...that will make them stop apologizing for sure.

Doing stupid things like this is what makes it a fight, not sparring. Talking **** while sparring is just disrespectful.

Sparring is practice, stop with your egotisical bull**** and try to learn instead of trying to act like a hardman wanting to get knocked out for no good reason.

Mayweather talks trash during sparring. If he does it, everyone must do it too.

you wait until you get a sparring partner who hits hard and constantly bashes you because he is better then you. I bet then you wont be saying you want your sparring partners to hit you hard.
You are obviously still a begginer saying something like this, you probably havnt sparred guys outside your gym. There is always some one better, so be careful what you ask for!!!
