Thanks everyone, the last several months have been very time consuming but it's all worth it. I ran the Diamond Glove Tournament from September to the end of October. I had to select 10 modern and 10 oldtimers for the International Boxing Hall of Fame. I Ring Announced at Bally's 10 days ago. I am working on sending several Amateur boxers to China. I do all the tickets, seating, ad book for the NJ Boxing Hall of Fame, Plus I am the MC Thursday night along with getting inducted. Larry Hazzard will be making my presentation. The very next night I am Ring Announcing in North Bergen and I am also running the Ring 8 Christmas Party and I will be the MC as well.

I know I am leaving out a couple of things but that's most of it.

Thanks once again for all your support, I really Love being on this forum and when things slow down a little, I will be on a lot more.

    Thanks once again everyone!

This past Thursday night we had nearly 500 people attend the Induction and Award Ceremonies for the New Jersey Boxing Hall of Fame, where I have been their President for the last 25 years and their Historian for 30. We had Nino Del Buono introduce me coming down the stairs of the Beautiful Venetian in Garfield. Everyone stood up and gave me a standing ovation that lasted a several minutes, it was Amazing!

I then took over as I introduced all the other honorees coming down the stairs, which including Virgil Hill, Tomasz Adamek, Gary Shaw, Big Art Tucker among others.

I then inducted one honoree after another. Art Tucker, who started boxing when he was in Rahway prison made a very heart felt speech, as did Rusty Rosenberger. Gary Shaw made a wonderful speech as well, and then donated $5,000 to the Hall. Adamek's manager Ziggy out bid everyone, $2,000 for a Leroy Neiman poster of Muhammad Ali. Today I picked up the check and he donated another $2,000 for an orphanage I have been supporting for years.

The last one to be Inducted was me, and Larry Hazzard made a wonderful presentation, and when he was done, once again everyone stood up and gave me another standing ovation. It is something that I never even thought of when I first joined the Hall of Fame over 30 years ago. Just think guys like Adamek, Hill, Shaw and Juan Laporte, who was in attendance, standing and clapping for you. It was an Amazing feeling that I will never forget.

A lot of people have asked me why I do the things I do and get nothing in return. People that say that, don't have any idea what is important in life. I always say, money isn't everything, what do they say, a laptop Computer is worth $400, a Car is worth $40,000 and a House is worth $400,000, But things like this is priceless.

Over the years we have run countless amount Picnics & Christmas parties for several Orphanages, and my wife does all the cooking without taking a cent. I have visited 100's of old-time boxing people and even brought them food to eat, paid for their gas & electric bill or even their rent at times. I also have given approx. 200 Eulogy's for boxing people around the Metropolitan area. I traveled as many as 300 miles to do so. After these functions just 1 Orphan has to say thank you or a huge from a family member that just lost a loved one is all the payment I need.

In the end, I don't care how much money you made, what good is it if you haven't done anything good with it? If I changed just 1 person's life I feel that I have been a success!

    Thanks once again, Henry Hascup
