    Douglas was ranked in the top 10 by the Ring Magazine in 3 out of 4 years before Tokyo, plus he decisioned both McCall & Berbick in '89.
    Berbick was certainly past-prime by then, but interestingly he was having his way with Tyson in '90 sparring for Buster. Yet, Tyson obliterated prime Berbick in '86.

    Yes, he was proud of himself for enduring so much sustained punishment in the Douglas and Ruddock fights. Very humble. Well done Mike.
