its nice to have the option, it would be hard to be in manchester and dallas on the same night, plus a shade more expensive i'd say.
None of Con's fights should have been PPV. As I understand it, he didn't sell well anyway and Sky are not interested in him that much now.
I don't do PPV or Sky. But of those fights listed I would have been willing to pay for two or three. Hatton/FMJ & Pac and Pac/DLH .
Long term though i still think sky see Khan as the 1 who is gonna draw big numbers in ppv sales for them. Could all go tits up on Dec 11th though i don't think it will. Beats Maidana and has a voluntary back in England, then the Bradley-Alexander winner. Sky could stand to make a fortune off those fights and credit to them they can promote a fight very well as they have showed with the time and money the have put into Haye-Harrison, i can see loads of casual fans buying that even though Haye will spark him out inside 3-4 rounds.
I've bought them all except Khan vs Kotelnik. The Khan ones have been a joke. Pac man vs De la hoya wasnt on PPV if I rememeber correctly it was on sky 2. Cant believe I paid for Khan vs ***an... I grudge the Khan ones.
Hatton v Mayweather - yep Hatton v Lazcano - Joke Khan v Prescott - Joke Hatton v Malignaggi - yep de la Hoya v Pacquiao - The definition of a fight which should be on Box Office Khan v ***an - The definition of something which shouldnt be on Box Office Khan v Barrera - yep Hatton v Pacquiao - Yep Khan v Kotelnik - Nope Khan v Salita - Hell no Haye v Valuev - yes Haye v Ruiz - nope Magnificent Seven - possibly Haye v Harrison - nope
bought the lot but most was when i had a pub, i think some were worth, others not Hatton v Mayweather - defo worth it Hatton v Lazcano - worth it Khan v Prescott - not worth it Hatton v Malignaggi - not worth it de la Hoya v Pacquiao / Khan v ***an - worth it Khan v Barrera - cant remember undercard, think it was ok so worth it Hatton v Pacquiao - worth it although fight didnt last long Khan v Kotelnik - worth it Khan v Salita - not worth it Haye v Valuev - not worth it Haye v Ruiz - worth it, was a enjoyable scrap Magnificent Seven - worth it Haye v Harrison - depends on how the fight goes but at min i would say not worth it
yeah mate, behind closed doors with the locals but i always let a few strangers in too if they seemed alright.
Havent paid for one of them. I pay enough for sky sports, without paying for ppv too. Watched a few in the pub, and the rest for free.
