    TOTAL PUNCHES PER ROUND

    WGT. LANDED/THROWN/PCT. WGT. CLASS AVG.

    112 13/50/26% 18/62/29%

    122-126 21/64/33% 18/57/32%

    130-135 20/69/30% 19/64/30%

    140-147 26/80/32% 19/58/33%

FLYWEIGHT STATS COMPILED FROM FOUR FIGHTS, THREE OF WHICH WERE TITLE FIGHTS. FOUR OPPONENTS HAD A COMBINED 104-10-1 RECORD WHEN THEY FOUGHT PAC. PAC FLYWEIGHT AVERAGES WERE WELL BELOW THE WGT. CLASS AVG.

HIS OUTPUT AT 122-126 & 130-135 INCREASED FROM FLYWEIGHT, BUT WAS AROUND EACH WGT. CLASS AVG.

HIS PUNCHES LANDED AT 140-147 (LAST 4 FIGHTS)- VS. FUTURE HALL OF FAMERS COTTO & DE LA HOYA, BORDERLINE HALL OF FAMER HATTON & CLOTTEY) DOUBLED HIS FLYWEIGHT NUMBERS, WHILE PUNCHES THROWN ROSE BY 30 PER ROUND
Not that it has anything to do with the topic but I just wanted to post this and not make a thread about it.:D

I think Pacs natural weight is around 145 (since 2003 anyway) he's at his peak strength now as are most men in their late 20's through early 30's but his stamina should be going down... so I see your statistical anomoly as relavant. However, with proper balance which Roach as taught him it is possible to be in position to throw more punches. Example before he was just a left-handed bomber he would throw his money punch and have to reset, now he throws the 3 and 4 punch power combos that include his left hand...

Don't think so. It's a WBC-sanctioned title-fight, so it's probably taking place under the unified rules of boxing commissions -- no three knockdown rule and only the ref can stop the fight ... Jim ...

Well, that's the risk, isn't it? The little dude has surprised us all before. I'm sure he's capable of doing it again.

Yeah. I think so. I think my friend sort-of knows what he's doing, though. He knows that I (and you) would see things that way, but is confident enough in Pac to try and use that to tempt me into it. We think he's wrong. I guess we'll see.

I've got another straddled bet running, but this one is more of a side deal.

 -- It made interesting reading, though. Good work.

If Pac is training around 148 then his best fighting weight would be 140, where he can cut to make the weight easily without over-draining himself and his opponents will not be as big.

KO within 6. Margarito has been getting his hands wrapped since he was a child, he knew what was going on. He has looked like he can't punch at all in his last two fights since getting caught, there's a reason for that. Marg's best defense was his offense, he doesn't have that anymore so now his only defense is blocking punches with his head, no way this fight lasts above 9.5 rounds.
