OK, Maybe it would take more than 3 to make him GOAT. What about this though......... Next fight - he beats the winner of Williams v Martinez THen takes on the champ at 140 Then ends his career knocking out FLoyd. Is that enough to make GOAT? Probably not. But surely that would be at least top 5 ATG. What else would he need to do to be regarded as the GOAT? Thanks for the input.
Me personally i don't see that happening. He could get in the early teens possibley to 10. But the GOAT, sorry but i don't think so.
If he did all that without catchweights, and with drug testing, he's in with a shout for any objective, sane persons top three of all time...
Sugar Ray Robinson will always be the GOAT With Pacquiao you have to understand, people took serious notice of him when he battled Barrera, Morales and Marquez and came out as a great fighter no doubt. After that, he fought a weight drained Oscar at 147 who looked shot from the opening bell Then it was Hatton who had already been beaten by Mayweather, got rocked by Lazcano in the 10th, and fought a powder puff puncher in Malignaggi. By then the binge eating and drinking had caught up with him. He then beat Cotto, who has never looked the same after being beaten by Margarito Clottey was next, a fight no one cared about as Clottley is a B level fighter, Clottey just covered up all night. This is not enought for him to be considered the GOAT. He is now fighting Margarito at a catch weight, and he was humiliated by Mosley. The quality of opposition, the catch weights, the way the fighters he faces are all damaged goods, this isn't good enough to be considered the GOAT And with the drug use allegations hanging over his head, people will always question "How can he keep going up and destroying bigger fighters?" Its incredible and I've never known a fighter who is able to move up with so much power and speed. Sugar Ray Robinson 173 Fights 108 wins 19 losses 6 draws 2 no contests 85-0 as an amateur 200+ pro bouts in 26 years Someone once said there was a comparison between Sugar Ray Leonard and Sugar Ray Robinson. Believe me, there's no comparison. Sugar Ray Robinson was the greatest. Sugar Ray Leonard Without a doubt the greatest pound for pound fighter that ever lived. Jake LaMotta The king, the master, my idol. Muhammad Ali
Pac will be in the top 5 at least...... But he will be remembered as one if not the greatest fighter that ever LIVED!!!!
Lucky we get to see two of the greatest in our life time with Tyson and Pac... For Excitement...And OHHHHHH my god this dude is BAD
Nobody can become the goat, ray robinsons spot is sealed, and also boxing changed alot since then with less fights. How about this who do you consider the best fighter form 80 on, thats the time since boxing became like how we know it now. So Duran,Leonard,Whitaker who? then ask yoursellf what does pac needs to do before you can put him above those guys? in my opinion beat floyd, williams and marquez.
Agreed !!!!! with Cesare-borgia..... Pac K.O. these guys I don't know we got just be watching history.......OF THE GREATEST
Fight Mayweather, then unifiy titles against Berto and fight Khan at Araneta Coliseum.. That would make him a Top 15 ATG..
Don't forget he did come up from I think 106//// first title at 112 with Susakul? Hummmmm pretty bad if you ask me for a little GUY!!!! LONG LIVE LITTLE BIG MAN
