Yeah I didn't really care for it much. Just again sky trying to sell it as a 50/50 fight. Not once did it mention that Haye is by far the better boxer. It just once again kept going on about how Audley's somehow going to be someone completely different to the boxer he's been for the last 10 years come fight night in his toughest fight by far. Did make me laugh when they showed Harrison's sparring partners and said they were brought in to replicate Haye. No wonder Audley believes he can win if he actually thinks nay of them are anything like David Haye. Still it was better than the normal countdown programs they put on.
I didnt think it was too bad in truth. It did make me wonder if Sky actually believe Harrison has a chance tho or if they are just selling the fight.
You hate this fight. You aint buying this fight. You won't watch this fight. Yet you're watching, and starting threads on, the build up programmes. Why you putting youself through this?
I thought it was a big improvement on the studio based shows where you have to listen to Dave Darts chatting **** while they show clips of their most brutal KO's against opponents with losing records The man with the gravelly voice is a good addition, but I'm not sure this mismatch is appropriate..... it's more Lewis vs Holyfield type stuff. Or Sky Sports Classics :yep
I saw the first part of this last night and recorded the rest of it. I think its interesting watching things like this. I wonder if a documentary like that is the future for Sky instead of the crappy countdown shows.
I thought it was clearly a 24/7 rip off but it was pretty well done. Fairly well written- the problem you have is that the first few 24/7 were borderline award winning cinema in my opinion. Truly exceptional pieces of media- nearly anything else that tries to copy it will pale when compared to it.
i cant watch it on sky cuz im not living in gb, can someone give me a youtube link or something where i can watch it
I agree..... the Mayweather vs Hatton 24/7 could have turned into a hit soap opera Not sure they could ever really match that, ever since it's never been quite the same.
