Do some research, your not going to get answers on a forum. How much capital have you got doing nothing?

You can add carriage to the costs. Transmission suite. Promos/advertising. Cost having a space on Sky in first place. The list could go on. Margins if any are small esp for boxing. I would think of something else! Also with the times we are in people outside of the fanatical boxing fans like yourselves are not willing to pay for what to many is a product they can live without. I.e An HBO fight. Dunk is also right about streaming killing tv companies. I reckon we lose around 10-15% in sales because if it. Sky can take the hit and don't really bother to take down streams but for companies like us in our first year it can really make a huge difference.

nutjob makes a point , im sat infront of my massive tv , paying sky however much a month im not going to say i know ill watch some shitty "stream" online rather than fork out £6 to watch on my 50 inch full hd tv

also your loosing far more customers by not being on virgin media than through streamers

Nutjob, would you also happen to be the chap who runs a well known streaming website?

Anyway, you are talking out of your arse. Illegal streams DO have a very damaging effect.

If there was no alternative people would be more likely to purchase legitimate methods of viewing the fight whether via STB or online stream. When people legitimately purchase a stream, the money they spend goes back into the system which provided the event. The revenue figures are used to determine the demand and the future costs of the events, which in turn can effect the decision to even air. There have been vast quantities of studies done on the subject showing the negative effects of illegal streaming, illegal downloading, and wheras there are arguments for the concept of free FREE to air events for promoting and developing an event or emerging artist in the case of music, THERE IS NO BENEFIT FROM PEOPLE WATCHING AN ILLEGAL STREAM, PROVIDING ADVERTISING REVENUE TO SOMEONE WHICH DOES NOT IN TURN GO BACK INTO THE EVENT BUT INSTEAD LINES THE POCKETS OF UNCONNECTED THIRD PARTY.

So **** off with your bull****

I stream onto a projector, these fees I have paid tv companies are absurd paying subscriptions I dont need or want THEN a ppv tag !!

People have gotten used to illegal streams as UK tv companies have NEVER shown enough boxing and no sat dish can cross the equator, only way to see US fights is this way,

Competition is good for customers and forces companiese to upgrade their product, if any of these companies or prem sports which I have paid for before showed more then they could do better, same with music and movies,,,,,,,people are happy to pay for dvd box sets etc if the product is goo, no more stupid price tag then find out their movies, music or in this case sports tc is **** AFTER paying

I like premier sports or any one else that can put it to a reasonable priced PPV stream . But Im never signing a year contract again with monthly charges for channels I dont want then PPV for **** thats free in other parts of Europe. those days are gone and I hope the current corrupt dominant companies sink and soemthign better picks this up

    rant over

See you just sum up the type of selfish scumbag that you are. The reason there are no 3pm games is so that people HAVE TO GO TO THE GAMES. If you want to watch your team go and do so. It isn't your right to be able to see 'your' team. If you can't afford, then tough ****ing luck.

As for the rest of the bollocks you typed, you are clueless. The vast majority of illegal streamers are people who can afford but don't want to pay.

if they can't afford it they shouldn't be allowed to watch it, end of story. I work hard for my money.
