Actually jr middle = 154 limit. There is no weight minimum.

The reason you don't see boxers fighting many lbs below the limit as Manny is doing is because they would be at a disadvantage. Manny is good enough, and ballsy enough to gamble on it, yet he gets hated on for it?

That warning post about *****s trying to make people believe up is down, night is day, black is white.. definately applies to this thread

This hasn't surprised me. pac is planning on sticking and moving in that ring, he won't be going to war with margo that's for sure. This actually plays in pac's hands because margo camp will have to come in lighter than they would have wanted in order to attempt to keep up with pac's speed which will be faster now than they had anticipated at this 150 pound catchweight.

Margo won't come in no more than 160 pounds now.

Alphabet belts are a dime a dozen, so forget about the belts. Fighting at a serious weight disadvantage proves Pac's cajones, so "fraud" is not the word here (which is more fitting to some woman-beater you ass-lick). :hey

If it's an advantage being small why did Floyd have a penalty for coming in over the contracted weight against JMM? Surely Marquez should have had one instead for coming in lighter. That cheating Mexican, being unfair too poor massive Floyd. How dare he!?!

So in all reality Pacquiao could fight for the Heavyweight title? :rofl
How epic/******ed/insane would it be for a lower weight class fighter to challenge for the Heavyweight title?
    From wikipedia:

in amateur boxing. A boxing match is usually scheduled for a fixed weight class, and each boxer's weight must not exceed the upper limit. An amateur boxer's weight must in addition not fall below the lower limit, although pro boxers may fight above their weight class.

Manny Pacquiao and his camp long before should have decided to face Margarito at 147 if at first they doubt to make that catchweight. This catchweight thing confuses me, it looked like any fighter in any weight could fight for that LMW title as long he doesn't exceed 154? If that so, it's like anyone in minimumweight dude could get a heavyweight belt at a catchweight. Damn this kind of rule sucks. I think this Pac-Margo match up should just be an exhibition fight and does not deserve a belt.

let me get this straight, so now the joyboys are trying to paint pac as a cheater like floyd against jmm for coming in light agianst a naturally bigger opponent while floyd dragging jmm's ass at welter and then cheating by coming in overweight of the required catchweight?

the joyboys are the most delusional and idiotic group of fans by thinking that coming in smaller means getting an advantage.
