Though that anderson should have been given the same opportunities as groves

Well, only watched it once, live

Seemed a tad early but Anderson didn't grumble too much

i think so a bit. but he took some heavy digs to the head and like has already been said, he didnt argue with it.

i like groves, and think degale is a rotten shitcunt. but, groves like that gets ****ed up by degale.

Refs seem to be stopping it earlier and earlier these days.

Maybe a touch early, but Anderson had no complaints and I don't think there was any way back for him. Anderson's hands looked like they may have dropped (I would have to see it again), so if he wasn't covering up properly, may not have been early.

Groves showed huge heart to rise and fight back - looks like he can bang a little bit aswell. But - his defence looked leakier than a rusty bucket and his default defensive manouvre was to recoil and cower like an 8 year old girl, swinging his head around uncontrollably.

As McGuigan said, Groves has now fought a 'live' opponent - which DeGale hasn't - and come out the other side. But if this is the Groves that turns up to a potential DeGale clash, he would get ****ed up.

I think while Groves looked in trouble a number of times he always tried throwing shots back and was attempting to duck and weave. When Anderson was stopped he looked pretty helpless against the ropes in my opinion.

I think it was a fair stoppage.

Anderson should have taken a knee when he staggered to the left before the ref stepped in

when groves was in trouble he managed to hold, try avoid punches and throw back. anderson didn't. don't think its comparable

Yes, thought it was a well-timed stoppage and Groves was about to tee off on Anderson who looked defenseless all of a sudden.

Can't believe Groves said he wasn't really hurt in the fight. Silly little twat.

Well Kenny didn't argue, that's usually a decent enough sign.
