Manny put on another master showing and showed more ring smarts than given credit for. Aside from lying on the ropes, which he did on purpose and was a mistake, he paid for that, learned from it, and didn't repeat the same mistake. Where he clearly could of stopped Margo, Pacman already did enough damage and willingly carried Margo in a shutout. Great footwork, speed, power, angles, and pressure. Obviously Floyd's main weapon vs. Pacman will be the jab, but as I thought after the 3rd round or so Manny started neutralizing the jab and getting past it to the point it wasn't a factor anymore. This was a Pacman that wasn't 100% and look what he did to Margarito. It would be a close fight, I still think it's a 50-50 fight, but as smart and talented as Floyd is underestimating Pacman's own ring intelligence would cost Floyd. To think that Manny is a mindless, no defense brawler and all about offense is underestimating him greatly. I think he purposely preferred to go 12 to be ready to go another 12 vs. a worthy opponent in the future. Knocking out someone early like Hatton did with Castillo before fighting Floyd would not be a good preparation for fighting great defensive fighters like Floyd and Manny that are not impossible to knockout, but prove to be the hardest and would wisely not be the best gameplan to defeat them. Having a great gameplan over the course of 12 rounds and beating them by decision would be the best route.

Can go either way, Mayweather's last two performances looked better than they really were, Marquez neve really had a chance and Mosley looked old and his style didn't bode well either.

Look at the previous two fights before them, Oscar and Hatton and you'll see Mayweather get hit a lot and in competitive fights.

Pac by Ko or UD. Pacquiaos hands are super fast and throws so many punches from so many angles, is impossible for Floyd to avoid getting hit, the shoulder roll will not work!!!!. The fight will never happen Floyd is smart and knows this and will do everything possible to avoid the fight. I cant blame Floyd he is smart and manages well his career(the only thing is that he looses a lot of money by not accepting the fight). Maybe he is waiting to see Pacquiaos abilities get diminished by so many wars (almost 60 fights now) to accept the fight. Giving all the respect in the world for Floyds abilities, PACQUIAO MAKES FLOYD LOOK LIKE SH***IT EVERY TIMES HE FIGHTS.

Floyd will not be using the shoulder roll! He will be in his high guard. He will only use the philly shell defense on the inside and it will work in there. He will take away the angles with his on foot work which he has the best foot work and foot speed in the game. To be honest with you Manny is going to get the **** jabbed out of him and Floyd will not be sitting in front of him all flat footed like these other brawlers! Floyd is a master boxer and you will wonder why Manny can't get off when they fight!

Still Mayweather SD or UD for me.

Impressed by Pacquiao's punching power...he seemed to be hitting a lot harder against Margarito, a definite sign of him growing into the higher weight. Mayweather cannot take the shots that Margarito took last night and look to pick up the win. But on the other hand, I don't see Mayweather taking as many shots as Margarito took.

I don't think it will be easy for Mayweather, but he's still the slight favourite in my eyes.

Pac throws way too many punches in different angles. You guys really think PBF as great as defensive fighter he is, can defend and steer away from the volume/strong punching of PAC the whole length of the fight? We all know PBF doesn't throw much and PAC's southpaw style, strong/accurate volume punching, pressure and foot work will eventually take PBF down. You add PAC's tenacity and killer instincts..he will not let up the barrage. PBF doesn't have the same punch resistance as any of the guys that PAC beat the last 3 fights. I'm a fan of PBF and the sweet science but this is a NIGHTMARE match up for him...A NIGHTMARE. Why do you think he is in hiding?

I don't care what PAC say's either about "nothing personal..this is business" The Mayweather's dragged his name through the mud with all the BS steroid accusations...PAC don't retaliate with words much (he respects everyone) he will make his fists do the talking IF this fight ever happens. I say PAC TKO if not KO in later rounds. He won't be looking at the ref or PBF's corner either for a mercy early stoppage.

stop there, Manny didn't carry Margo, he just knew if he exchanged with him anymore he could be in trouble. Those liver shots and uppercuts against the ropes made manny's legs buckle and he knew that it was very dangerous to do that

Too close to call! But Pacquiao's resume is better overall:
