It was a funny start of the 7th round, Margarito looked soo uplifted by the 6th round and was like, im gonna KO this guy. Then the referee grabbed his hand, looking like he was gonna get deducted a point and was like ''What did I do?''?
I remember by that particular moment, I was saying ''Thats why they caled him The Tijuana Tornado'' Margarito would have beaten Mosley, Cotto and have a decent chance against Mayweather that night.
This thread is not to point out a weakness or take anything away from Pac's performance and it was never inferred here it is intended to show that pacquiao has superb recuperation skills because of the training he gets... Also to show he is Human...:hey Would you guys have liked another Clottey fight where pac faced no adversity???? No right this thread is just to celebrate the great fight we actually saw and the clinic after the 6th round and that pac sticks to his gameplan and trainers direction which makes him so much better...
My favorite part of the fight was when Margarito had Pac on the ropes and was trying to put in work, Pac gets himself off the ropes, spins Marg around and starts beating him down to the point where Marg is then almost on the ropes.... Not sure what round that was but it was just awsome. Also, the punch that opened up Margs cut was one sick shot.... If it wasnt a guy like Margarito with such toughness, chin, and heart.... and 20lbs on him, that would have been a KD shot at least.
That's what happens when you fight big, tough guys. You get hurt. Pac had to suck it up, shrug it off and keep doing his thing, and that's what he did.
You said it, not me......when an athlete is under the influence of performance enhancers, his cardio and muscle recovery time is exponentially that much greater. .....and to the poster in this thread that said Pacquiao does 2100 situps and crunches nonstop for 40 minutes? atsch Everytime I read stuff like this, there is just more reason to be further suspicious of Pacroid. Margarito needs a full round to recover from a Pacquiao straight left to his body. Pacquiao is in extreme pain, but recovers within seconds.:?
Divac, why is it that you seriously almost exclusively talk negative about Pac.... really. This guy just got in the ring and gave his all against a guy who outweighed him by 20lbs, says all he wants is to give fight fans good fights, and that he hopes they were happy with his performences, says he will fight anyone they put in front of him (he would probably fight Abraham if thats what the fans wanted and the promoters did their job and made it happen) The guy just went through major adversity and came through with flying colors, gave an excellent fight at a weight he shouldnt even be at, period, and it seems all I ever see you do is talk bad and negatively about one of boxings most positive, classy, truly elite blood and guts warrior. The fact that elite, and blood and guts warrior, rarely go hand in hand shouldnt be lost on anyone. This man is giving fight fans all he has in there..... and to me it just seems like all you can do is spout crap about him, seems pretty bogus man. Seriously, the guy just gave us a pretty damn good fight against a dangerous fighter given his size, and chewed him up good. Theres a million and one positives to talk about on both sides of the fight, from Margos chin and heart, to Pacs brilliance and overcoming adversity, yet you talk about the negative.
That shows how big manny's heart is. Have you tried playing Fight night? where fighters with 95 rating in the heart department are the ones that are hard to knock out.
if Pac isn't a threat to his idol then he would be praising pac right now. He is blinded by hate and jealousy.
Well, we know that both of them employ the "stick to the body" training. Obviously, Pac's been doing that a lot longer (if that's even a good idea).
That shot is the one that knocked Cintron the **** out and made him cry like a *****....Pacquiao is the man! :good
