This thread isnt just to bash audley, others may do that but that's not my aim.

For me, that was the worst effort ive ever seen in a "world title" fight(i dont count danny green-paul briggs)...has there ever been worse?

James Douglas' effort against Holyfield in his first defence was pitiful.

Audley Harrison. That guy must have gone home and watched the Pac v Margarito fight feeling so embarrassed.

Not worse than Audley but Caveman Lee is worth a mention as is Bruce Seldon who probably was worse than Harrison.

Damon Reed was another bad joke, but Harrison gave it a whole new dimension (3D pun intended).

Seldon was the first that came to mind. And i reckon Witters effort against Judah did him no favours in the popularity stakes.

Taking the title literally, I'll throw in Henry Akinwande's effort/non-effort against Lennox Lewis, even though I think Henry was a champion (WBO) himself at the time.

Akinwande ditched the WBO title in exchange for a WBC #1 contender status.
    Don King.

Kevin Johnson didn't do himself much good against Vitali. He clearly just wanted to boast he went the distance, but stunk out the joint terribly and has really hurt his reputation badly with that defensive display.

Still, hard to top poor Bruce Seldon...not punching is one thing, hurling yourself to the floor off a devastating punch to 1/16th of your forehead is another.

Audley's effort made Pavlik vs Lockett look like a Rocky fight.
