oh my god!!! i need to start paying more attention to the bookies cos i fancied him in a stoppage before 5!!
if true that is a crazy amount of cash to win. he got over £10 million for saturday nights debacle and a cool £2 million to top it off. Jesus...
To be honest i think he's talking a load of ****. If he'd of caught Audley in either Round 1 or 2 he'd of finished him off then
I think the whole thing is a wind-up...I backed him for round 3 @9/1 on Tuesday, if he told his friends and family to bet him for round 3, why were the odds still only 7/1 before the fight.
he won't have told that many people. 20 people putting big money on a round won't dramaticly change the odds.
Hes just talking **** to get people interested after the pointless waste of time that was that fight though. But yeah I got him at about 8.20 for Ko3 \o/
At the first sign of anything fishy bookies immediately stop taking bets. Big money going on one particular round is high up the list of things to watch out for.
Which is exactly what happened with Green V Briggs. A certain round of victory is something that would be very easy to fix in boxing, so any serious money going on a particular round is ridiculously suspicious. Again, Haye is chatting ****: Something he's certainly done enough of at this point. I do love the bloke as a boxer, hes exciting and always puts on a good show, but ****s sake he really needs to fight a Klitschko.
11/1 is decent odds. I was on with coral, who went 9/1 in each of the first 4. My feeling was for a second round KO, but I covered the first 4 to be on the safe side, with the biggest stake going the second. Fights like this are great for betting on, the sky hype train put the KO odds seriously out of whack.
I always thought it would end inside 3, max 4 rounds. As soon as Haye lands clean it's game over. The only reason Harrison survived a few punches is because he was to scared to throw and get countered.
