Who gave Margo a bigger beat down?

Probably even.

Shane landed some ridiculous bombs which were hard enough to force Margarito to backpeddle (which I have never seen him do before) before being knocked out.

Pacquiao had to land many more punches as Margarito kept walking forward.

Shane = Internal brain damage, as a knockout = a severe concussion
Pacquiao = Superficial i.e. bruises and cuts

Both are a beatdowns in different ways.

 

Hmmm...hard to say. The Mosley one was brutal, and took him out. But he looked horrendous after the Pac fight, and looked as if he felt horrendous also. And after the Mosley fight, he was OK. This is the type of injury that could ruin a career.

Mosley probably hit him with more power, but Pac just messed him up terrible. And he took it easy on him in the last two rounds, when he could possibly have demolished him. But hell, he could have taken his eye if he did that.

In the end, they were different. This one will have a bigger impact, definitely. But Mosley probably just beat him down with more power.

I guess it's the difference with getting hit in the head and getting knocked out, and then getting up. And getting repeatedly slammed in the face with a stick that damages you and messed you up, but not quite putting you down. But the damage is there for all the world to see. And it speaks volumes.

But as for me, I would have rather been in the Mosley fight than the Pac fight.

I think mosley had the power and strength to wear him down and make him stop and give up. Pac couldn't quite get him out of there but hit him with nasty sharp punches all night and bust him up. Marg will be feeling the effect of the pac fight for longer than he felt the effect of shane fight. marg couldn't take the punishment from shane, he could take it from pac but he got punished a lot more in the pac fight.

 

the margo in the shane fight was unfocused after the scandal. the margo that pac fought was all focus and was trying redeem himself not to mention holding a much bigger weight advantage. it was margo's best performance in a while not unlike the margo in the shane fight where it looks like that his mind is flying and he was not even in the same ring as mosley.

Margarito won more rounds against Manny than he did against Shane and had way more moments in last nights fight

The Margarito Pacquiao faced had boxed once in 2 years, hadn't ever done anything about 147, and was arguably finished.

 

Pac made Margarito look like chinese for christ sakes!

Lots of slashing shots, cause that sort of problem. Mayweather's done that to guys.

Only reason Margarito didn't end up in hospital, is that Shane got him out by round 9. If Margarito had fought on, any longer, he'd have been permanently retired

 

Shane won every single round, and got him out in 9 rounds. The KO was one of the ugliest I've ever seen. Those bombs would have killed a smaller fighter.

Pacquiao won a UD, in which he lost 4 rounds on one card. What's more, he was seriously hurt himself for at least a few rounds

 

arguably? have you not seen the fight? margo fought the figt of his life against pac and showed a tremendous heart. whereas in mosley, it's a terrible performance.
