Unfair to Pac. This was really a welterweight fight with Margarito weighing in at 150, and Pacquiao should stay at welter or even move down to 140 to face Bradley/Alexander or the winner of that vs. Khan/Maidana. At 147 there's only Floyd (questionable) and two unlikely fights (Canelo and Paul Williams), and of course shot Mosley who shouldn't follow Roach's footsteps and leave the ring damaged.

Not a fight I want to see at all, and I dont like this mentality of 'lets see how big the fighter has to be before its competetive'.... but I realise its a natural thing to speculate just how far he can go.

    But, to answer the question....

I think Martinez stops Pac around the 10th.

Martinez isnt just big, hes got decent defence, hes got decent speed, hes got decent ability, hes got good pop and hes got good stamina, and he has the intangebles to put all these together into one hell of a formidable fighter.

So you take all of Sergios attributes, and put that onto his frame, weight, and have Pac try to overcome all that at once and I just think it would be too much to ask..... I think Pac might win the first 2 or 3 rounds but I think Martinez's shots start to take their toll around the 5th and Pac starts to get rocked badly around the 9th until eather Roach stops it or the ref does in the 10th.

That being said..... it seems I am always underestimating Pac so who knows.

If Pac dares to fight for a superwelter belt again, he's NUTS! Pac couldnt even step in the ring at 154, and Martinez is a lot better than Margo.

Pac should stay at 140-147 and clean the division. No more 150-lb fights. Too risky for his health.

we all know that pac is too small for welter and even at a catchweight light middle fight, he still was too small against margo. if this fight happened at 154, pac is giving so much size here but i think pac can decision martinez in a very tough fight if he won't be stopped.

Too risky. He's too big and too fast. Manny has had great success with larger opponents who are slower. Martinez is certainly not as fast as Manny, but he's fast, and I just don't think it would be a smart move.

Manny has done some superhuman things, but there's a limit.

jeessuuuss christ people.. you wrestling fans should get out of this scientific sport. Martinez can't even make 160 anymore as of the latest news! His body mass is so huge at this point, he even looks in shape and ripped at 176!

    Mismatch... next...

If slow Margarito could hit him that much I'd say Martinez doesnt have too much trouble

Martinez in one of the worst, most one-sided, ass whooppin's in boxing history. This **** would make Larry Holmes/Marvis Frazier look competetive.

For everyone's information, marg weighed in at 165. Martinez was only 167 against Pavlik.

Pac held a number of obvious adavantages over Tony. Name one single advantage Pac would have over Martinez.
