    hey guys,

    thanks for all the replies. I ended up buying an original certified photo signed by Ali after the Liston fight.

    I'm quite pleased as I managed to get it for an absolute bargain off another collector.

    According to Fraser's autographs of London, Ali autographs are valued at around £1,250+:

    However, I don't think i'll ever sell it. Even if someone offered me £10k.

    Between 1997 and 2008 the value of Ali's autograph has increased by 442% (this is based on sold prices so it's not hypothetical!). That's better than investing in bricks and mortar.

    That's pretty amazing let alone the fact that i now own a piece of boxing history. Well chuffed!

    ....now all i need is one of Elvis :D
