JMM probably DESERVES the fight more than anyone at this point, but we don't deserve to shell out to see what will surely be a beatdown from PAC. As stated ad nauseum, JMM and Pac are both vastly different fighters now: JMM is weather-beaten and old, Pac is stronger and more talented than ever.

Berto is tailor-made for Pac -- he's aggressive, without too much to offer in terms of skill. Feels like a foregone conclusion to me.

Williams is interesting based on his scary height, but he is also prone to fighting at the aggression of the opponent. Straight style favors Pac, but Williams does bring a physicality even Margarito can't offer at the point. Decent fight, but not at the top of my list.

Martinez...now that's interesting. A big, strong, fast fighter with mad speed and an unconventional style. He can get in and out as fast as anyone and would pose a different sort of challenge to Pac -- size, power, speed and boxing ability. Would love to see it.

Mayweather: Considering Floyd's very public mental breakdown and troubles with the law, this remains a suspect prospect. My advice to Pac would be to skip the fight. Not because Floyd isn't worthy as a competitor -- I think we can all agree that Floyd is the one fighter who could spell big trouble for Pac -- but because Floyd has disqualified himself from immediate contention based on his recent words and actions.

As it stands right now, Pac is destined to be remembered as the best fighter of his generation, bar none. Should Floyd's career be over now, he will be an interesting footnote: the guy who had all the speed and skill to be a great, but whose unstable personality and safety-first style of fighting and choosing opponents left him out of the P4P ATG conversation.

Martinez won't go any lower than 154 and anything above that he is too much for Pac in my opinion.

Williams has said he would fight anyone at welterweight or light middle so a fight with him can be made. But if he loses to Sergio the fight won't have the same relevance.

I'm a big Marquez fan and agree he does deserve a third fight with Pac but I don't want to see this because I think Pac wins by brutal knockout.

Berto or Bradley could be an option but I really don't see them giving Pac much of a test and they would'nt add to his legacy. Also don't see a rematch with Cotto ending any differently than the first fight.

Mayweather is the only fight out there!

I agree, but if he has to fight someone else--Martinez or Williams....People are saying Mayweather wont take chances, I disagree.....

If Williams beats Martinez....You could see Floyd targeting Williams, since they're under the same management...Pacquiao will most likely fight Marquez, I get the sense Roach thinks Williams or Martinez is way too big..

    Mayweather, but it won't happen.

If Martinez wins on Saturday Martinez for the 160 title, that would be ideal for Pac, assuming Martinez wins. Paul wins, I dunno (Paul is Too tall) it would look funny, but hell why not? Paul vs Pac.............if its a draw, then Martinez should fight Pac, and P-Will should fight Mayweather..

Then Mayweather-Pac megabout, with P-Will and Martinez on undercard for a Mega night of Boxing :happy

:patsch :rofl If Mayweather doesn't want to fight Pac what makes you think he will fight Williams?

I guess we all agree that the only TRUE fight out there for Pac is Mayweather, but Mayweather thinks otherwise.

Pac can't do 154 much less 160. Martinez won't go any lower than 154 either. So forget about that fight too.

Cotto 2 is pointless, the first fight wasn't even close to make a second part.

A fight with Marquez...Marquez would get beat this time as it was shown that he doesn't fight well above 135lbs. unlike Pac, he is doing well with the added weight.

Williams in my opinion would be a good fight with Pac but Roach won't put Pac in with Williams not even at 147lbs. See it from a business point of view ($$) it won't be a high gross fight. Which is what Bob Arum is trying to do before Manny retires, get as much money as possible from Manny.

Mosley won't be competitive at all. Well atleast the first few rounds it would after that Mosley will show his age. But this is the most likely fight Top Rank will do. A well known name that will bring in lots of cash to the table yet still keep the Pac-Train going strong.

    Berto :patsch

And anyone in the 140 won't do anything to Pac.

Top choice is Floyd, although it probably won't ever happen.

Mosley is passed it, I'd hate to see this happen.

I say Berto, but Mosley is most likely next.
