    According to the Scene

    ****ing ridiculous :deal

Adamek gets alot of fans seemingly for his willingness to fight anyone, but Golota, Grant, Maddalone and now Roy Jones :patsch

I gave him a pass for Grant especially, as a fight to get accustomed to the height and weight of a true heavyweight in preparation for a Klitschko fight down the line. But feasting on a completely shot to pieces light heavyweight with zero punch resistance there is literally no excuse for. This makes Haye-Harrison look a great, competitive fight.

Adamek will lay Jones out, too big, too strong, too consistent.

At least Adamek's fought one of the current top 25 heavyweights in Chris Arreola. But yeah I agree this is a bit of a joke of a fight if it happens. Even then though it's more competitive than Haye-Harrison cuz at least Roy will try.

I can't see how Adamek beats either Klitschko unless he waits til Vitali turns 50 anyway so I'd rather see him in with another top contender, someone like Povetkin or Thompson.

strange fight adamke must be getting serious $$$ for this cause there is nothing to gain from facing RJJ. It doesnt prepare him for other heavys, it doesnt get him a belt it does nothing for his resume. Michael Sprott was rumord to have been offerd the fight wasnt he? Sprott would ice this version off Jones he has nothing left and why is Rjj taking a fight at heavy anyway he couldnt handle danny greens power

roy jones is still delusional about his current state, i reckon he thinks hes still got one last big moment of glory in him but unfortunately he really really doesnt

why not fight somebody like jeff lacey again or clinton wood or something, i see no need for him to get KO'd again

apparently he lost a ridiculous amount on his record label so maybe he does need the cash but he could do it in a better way

I'm not even sure it would be more competitive than Haye-Harrison

Roy can't pull the trigger anymore, he couldn't against a 45 year old non-punching LHW in his last fight so he's gonna be even more gun shy against Adamek. His reflexes are long gone so he can't slip shots, the first shot that lands, not even cleanly, like it did in the Green fight, this will be over.

I love RJJ but he could be seriously hurt here, any respected boxing commission should not let this fight take place IMO.

how the **** does it make Haye vs Harrison look competative.

Jones Jnr has at least beat a top 25 Heavyweight. He wont **** himself and cower like a ***** in the corner.

Did you see Jones-Hopkins then Rob? probably not the fight, just the contracts eh? Jones beat a top 25 heavyweight yeah, at his peak, when was that again? he CANNOT pull the trigger. he couldnt against a non-puncher at LHW. therefore he wont throw punches against adamek. he couldnt take a grazing shot from danny green. first time adamek lands this is over.

stick to pulling financial figures out of your arse and making epic 'hate to say i told you so' threads eh, leave the actual boxing to us boxing fans :hi:

A top twenty-five HW seven years ago, in his only heavyweight fight, before he ****ed up his body for good coming back down.

We all hated the Haye-Harrison fight but Harrison coming off several wins and a European belt is worth more than a guy who fought once at the weight a life time ago and is since set on a personal crusade to destroy his reputation. It's churlish to pretend otherwise.

What a mismatch. Why not just fight Holyfield? Guess RJJ is the easier fight.

And what happened the first time Haye landed???

Harrison could never pull the trigger, at his peak he never beat a top 25 Heavyweight.

so again explain to me how this makes Haye vs Harrison look like a competative fight?
