The fact that he had as much sucess as he did is amazing when you consider he was a pretty one dimensional fighter. Anyone agree?
To a point , but Hatton in his prime was very very quick . This atribute is always lost on Ricky and manny people just discuss his pressure. For me he didnt win a round against Floyd , but for six rounds he was more competitive than most I have seen.
He was not at his best agains Tszyu, Mayweather or Pac. If he was you would have seen something special. Very, very good fighter.
I liked Ricky, he was an exciting fighter but in all honesty Mayweather would have owned him even at 140 and Pac would have owned him even had they fought five years ago. He was just to one dimensional to beat those guys.
He was a pretty good offensive fighter that had some basic defensive flaws. With a better trainer he could have gone a lot farther.
