    Flex read your texas musings

Can you honestly say that Pac and Mayweather dont need each other?

Why do you think murray beats Rios so easily? they are essentially very similar fighters but Rios seems to have the more pop and the chin to withstand Murrays assaults how owuld Murray fight against somebody who can take his assaults and back him up does he really have a plan B?

I didn't say they didn't need each other, I said Pacquiao doesn't need Mayweather to secure his legacy. Mayweather does need Pac as he hasn't beaten the same calibre of opponent and most fans blame him for the fight not happening. Unlike Pac, his legacy could be in jeopardy.

Regarding Rios nowhere do I say Murray would beat him easily, just that I think he would beat him. Murray is an underrated boxer with an underrated dig. I believe he has more ability to adapt if pushed back, having seen both several times, including at ringside. Why you assume Murray WOULD be pushed back is a better question when he throws more shots and looks just as strong. Just my opinion though.

Cheers for the reply good to see you on the forum

I agree in the most part that if both Pacquiao and Mayweather were to retire tomorrow there would be question marks over why the fight didnt happen but Pacquiaou's resume who hold up in the long term

Tbh i disagree with the underrated boxer and underrated dig i think he is overrated in both departments. He has been flattered by the opponents he has faced similar to Kell Brook he is on the verge of "world" title level and has yet to be properly tested with a gatekeeper type opponent. His dig isnt concussive. Rios can take Murrays shots and fire back harder and crisper than Murrays swarming style. Regardless i think it would be a great fight.

    As you say it opinions
