    Hello guys

Any one have any idea what the max age is for an amature in the uk?

Also as i have a feeling it not to far away what the process is if you wanted to turn pro? Some one told me it cost about £1000 no idea if thats true or not.

    Thanks

You can finish the year you turn 34. I turned 34 in May this year so I can still box in 2010, after that it's done. It's an ABA rule as far as I know, so it would apply anywhere. I doubt you can turn pro if you have no amateur experience, at least that's how it is in some US states. I can't imagine Britain being less strict.

Not that I know of. I've never seen a masters fight that's for sure.

Alot of 35 yr old amatuers just turn to unlicensed shows. Its pretty common nowadays.
