Ruslan Chagaev vs Travis Walker

Round One: Started out slow, both fighters landed some good shots....I give a slight edge to Chagaev.

Ya, I was thinking the same thing. It's like going from the NBA to a high school gym.

 

This was a good round to see that its quite difficult to hit Chagaev clean. He's keeping his chin tucked away and has his guard right back up after his short counters.

Big left for Chag. Tries uppercut to the body. Feint right and good straight left for Chagaev. Walker stays outside. Good uppercut for Walker. Walker takes the ending.

Some good shots landing for both. Chag's straight left is fast, no doubt about that

 

2nd round for Chag, although Travis landed a beatiful hard uppercut

 

Round 3: nice shots by Chagaev, I felt like almost had Walker down

 

Walker tries to catch Chag with right hand when Chag rushes in. Good left hook to the body Chag. Good cross Chag. Small right hook Chag. Walker roughs up Chag on the ropes.

nice punches from both in the 3rd round, Walker landed a few nice right hands inside against the ropes. Chagaev popped him with a left though

 

Good fight so far! Walker is a game opponent
