BTW not a lot's been said about Garcia....i know he did mentioned Pac's wraps but other then that i find the man to just be a walking smile. He doesn't seem to say anything of meaning and seemed to allow that beating to continue for far to long IMO. Although i know Margarito is a Mexican and they don't like being pulled out.

Exactly, Garcia would've known Margs mindset and should've done the right thing.

No need for the last couple rounds

You no what, I don't think he'll fight a meaningful fight again. The guy took huge punishment against pac (to the point where I actually had to look away when I saw his face between rounds)

That kind of punishment stays with a fighter. He will be in no rush to get bck in there IMO.

    What, without his little hand-wamers?

I think Cotto would batter him.

After what Margarito was saying about De La Hoya in the build up, he might have shot Garcia after the fight if he pulled him out...

In Mexico they have a saying ''if i can't win i will die trying!'' against Mosley his trainer was about to chuck the towel in before the ending. That's what Garcia should of done. I feel they should of sent him out and as Pacquiao landed a few shots just chucked towel in and i'm pretty sure ref would of stopped it. I feel it's the best way other then ref stepping in for a fighter to go. He goes out with class and dignity like a warrior should. I'm not a fan of fighters quitting on stool IMO unless he is seriously struggling!

There was definitely a good argument for it being stopped although how much the fight ment to Margarito I think played massively on Garcia. This was Margarito's chance for redemption after what happened with the wraps & they pretty much seemed to say '**** it, he might land a hail mary somewhere in the last 3 or 4 rounds, may as well keep him out there.' Agree with the towel stoppage part as well, definitely a more 'noble' way to go out

Yeah i agree on redemption. I spoke to HH during the fight and we both agreed it seemed like he was on a mission to prove himself whether it was getting a beatdown or winning the fight. I must admit i thought in middle to later rounds he had one shot left in him to the body...but by 10th round i gave up on that and think the fight went on 3 rounds to long.

I do wonder if it was another situation like Cotto who said to Santiago (Before Pacquiao fight) ''don't pull me out...let me go on''. I think maybe Garcia was told to. But then again..should a trainer agree to something like that..i'm not so sure...there supposed to defend there fighters best interests.
