I must admit I know very little about Smith, I do know a little about Degale and reckon he is classy and will go all the way to become a world champion. I will youtube Smith's fights soon, my early prediction is (probably not knowledgeable given i know little about smith) for Degale to win by UD.

Quite a few of you are going for degale UD and have said smith is durable, so thats probably wise to go with degale UD. I'll probably have some ££ on that @ 4/1 with skybet.

that's the point though, Groves pulled it after having to dig deep, he now knows he can do it, its over to De Gale now to see if he can do the same.

I have a funny feeling De Gale will really dazzle in this fight. It should be a great fight I cannot wait, the atmosphere will be electric.

Yeah Groves did dig in well, but had he been fighting Degale or someone with a better killer instinct, he'd of been finished

However he only learning and in a funny way will probably be a boost to his confidence, becuase of the hype around him and Deglae its hard sometimes to remember to judge them on where they are actually at, which is the begining of their careers

DeGale, not even close in terms of skill but experience is heavily in favour of Smith, where the hell is Jamie Mcdonnell?

I think chunky is going all the way to world level but this fight may have come slightly too soon in his career. The home advantage could prove a huge factor so i am backing Smith on points.

If you have to bring home advantage into it you're really clutching at straws
De Gale to win inside 6. The only advantage Smith has is pro-experience. De Gale will be too fast and too strong

If you think being friend is going to stop either of them trying to stop each other, then you are totally deluded brother

think people who say de gale is too classy for smith are underestimating the importance of experience, smith isn't going to stand in front of de gale and let him showboat . smith will fight to his strengths which might not produce a great spectacle but will get him the result main concern is fussy refereeing protecting franks golden boys like in the birmingham show might work against smith

I wouldn't call a ref that won't accept Smith's huggy bear Ruiz-lite tactics fussy. I pray to God that happens for once. It ain't a wrestling match, fight inside or get out.
