Hopefully we'll get a good showing Andy Murray tonight, I think he could do well at Euro level at the very least, really happy that he's finally stepping up from fighting on undercards.

nope the Brazilian handed him the WBO Latino title. Andy is the whitest Latino I have ever seen

 

Nice touch from the Brazilian by giving Murray his belt at the end of the fight. No title was on line as far as I know but Murray after the set back at the start boxed well and deserved his win. I dont think he is ready for John Murray at the moment.

 

I had it a little bit closer The partisan crowd maybe robbed Lacerda of a point but it didn't really matter. I didn't think it was that scrappy. The last round was a bit scrappy alright but I thought Murray showed himself to be a more than capable technician.

Murray went down in the first but was up quickly and took charge from there on.

 

Delighted for Murray, seems like a really nice lad. He boxing really well tonight, and showed good heart to come back from the early scare. As long as he was using his jab he was controlling the fight, and put some nice punches together. Good win to get, and hopefully this will moving him onto bigger things.
